Cantina di Verona Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Vallis Dei is made from 70% Corvina Veronese, 25% Rondinella, 5% Molinara

Color: intense red ruby
Nose: winey, fruity with hints of oak. Some spice and vanilla.
Mouth: It is well balanced with round tannins.

Yield: 10000 kg of grapes per hectar – after which the grapes are dried “appassimento”

Prestigious wine obtained by an ancient technique known in Veneto Region as “Ripasso” This technique consists of giving more body and character to Valpolicella Superiore wine by running it over the residue of the dried out grapes used in the production of Amarone and Recioto.
This process reinforces the structure, color and flavor without altering its freshness.

Review:

"Bright ruby-red. Sexy scents and flavors of dark berries, mocha, minerals and smoked meat. Concentrated, seamless wine with a captivating restrained sweetness and terrific energy lending shape and definition to the middle palate. Serious fine-grained tannins give this wine the structure for mid-term aging. - Stephen Tanzer"

"One of two Ayni Malbec releases in 2015, this is made in a fruitier, more approachable style with understated oak. Balanced, floral and elegant, it’s sappy and appealing, with notes of liquorice and black plums and a long, tangy finish. 2018-23"

Vinsacro Rioja 2012

Vinsacro (Valsacro)( Rioja is predominately 70yr old 55% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 10% Mazuelo, 10% Graciano and 5% Monastrell aged in American oak.

Dark cherry color. Intense and elegant sweet spices, chocolate and ripe fruit with suggestive toasty aromas that tell us about the aging in good oak. Tasty, powerful, meaty and structured and at the same time easy to drink, very round.
The slogan of our winemaker "Wine is to enjoy". Vinsacro red wine is a wine to be stored, so that positive developments are expected for at least 15 years.

"The 2012 Rioja, a blend of 55% Tempranillo, 20% Granacha, 10% Mazuelo, 10% Graciano and the rest Monastrell, was aged in American oak casks for 16 months. This beautiful, deep ruby/purple-colored wine offers up notes of lead pencil shavings, licorice, white chocolate, baking spices and blackcurrant liqueur. It is lush, medium to full-bodied and ripe, but beautifully balanced, pure and powerful. Drink it over the next 5-7 years."

Le Jade Picpoul de Pinet 2017

A refreshing treat laced up with snappy food-friendly acidity.

Picpoul Le Jade makes a classic match with oysters on the half shell and goes very well with exotic food in general. Picpoul means lip-smacking good.
