Located in France, Bordeaux is a wine region that is halfway between the North Pole and the equator. It stretches along the estuary in Gironde and the great Atlantic Ocean. Probably the most respected region on the planet, Bordeaux follows along the Dordogne and Gironde Rivers with nearly 120,000 hectares of grapevines. Bordeaux is the second largest region in the world, second only to Languedoc. Over 700 million bottles of wine are produced in Bordeaux each year. The wines produced range from expensive and prestigious reds and whites to everyday jug and table wines. There are 9,000 wineries in Bordeaux, These are called, “chateaux.” Bordeaux has 57 appellations. The soil in Bordeaux is quite heavy with calcium, and comes from limestone. The soil in Bordeaux is composed of clay, sandy stone, and gravel. The best wines in Bordeaux are produced in and around the Gironde River coming from soils that have been well-drained. The majority of grapes that are grown in Bordeaux are for red wines like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. 50% of the grapes grown in the region are Merlot. Wineries all over the world strive to make wines in the Bordeaux style with blends of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot.

Brulesecaille Blanc Grande Reserve 2016

Brulesecaille Blanc Grande Reserve is made from 75% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Sauvignon Gris.

Pale yellow color with a green tinge. Elegant bouquet with notes of citrus and grapefruits. Smoky notes or fresh nuts aromas. Intensive fruity and elegant flavors of citrus lemon, grapefruit, elder-flower, and gooseberries. Fruit-driven fine structured finish with terroir expression, acidity is high enough to maintain the extended finish. 75% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Sauvignon Gris. Drink over the next 3 years.

Average age of the vines is 25 years.
Manual harvest from September 19th-20th 2016.
Direct press at low pressure (whole cluster) with low amount of SO2, settling at 10°C. 
Addition of yeast and alcoholic fermentation in casks 400 liters. 
Raised on the lees for 6 months with regular batonnage (stirring of the lees). 
Bottling in april 2017.

Fish, seafood, white meats, fine goat cheeses.

Chateau Suau Bordeaux Blanc 2016
Chateau Suau Bordeaux Blanc  is made from 55% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Sémillon, 10% Muscadelle. 

The grapes are destemmed and sorted on a table in the cellar. Fermentation in regulated stainless steel tanks at low temperature. Aged on fine lees during three months.

This wine reveals complex aromas of honeysuckle, citrus and pineapple. It’s refreshing and expressive. An excellent depth of fruit as well as a long finish with a nice acidity. To be served at 8°- 10°C with seafood and grilled fish, or as an aperitif.

Chateau Hallet Sauternes 2015 (half-bottle)

Hallet Sauternes (half bottle) is made from 100% Sémillon.
With delicate aromas of honey, citrus, crystallized fruit and acacia, it makes a good match not only for desserts, but also for foie gras, roasted meats and blue cheeses. It makes a delicious aperitif when served chilled.

Gravas Sauternes 2015 (half bottle)

 Gravas Sauternes (half-bottle)is made from 95% Semillion, 5% Sauvignon Blanc

The wine shows a lovely pale golden color with deep golden highlights, and it offers aromas of candied fruits backed up by a hint of exotic fruit (mango, guava). On the palate, it is ample and fleshy, leading into a silky and long finish.

Pairs with Foie Gras, Roquefort Blue Cheese, Chocolate desserts in general.

Landes Caprices d'Anais Rose 2016

Landes Caprices d'Anais Rose is made from 50% Merlot + 50% Cabernet Sauvignon

This cuvée was created in 2005 to honor Nicolas's first daughter Anais. Caprice d'Anais means "Anais' Whim".

Color: Pale pink with salmon hues. 
Aromas: quite aromatic nose dominated with floral (linden and elderberry) and fruity (cherry, strawberry and raspberry) notes. 
Flavors: Quite similar to the aromas, with red fruit and floral flavors. The wine is easy to drink with a good fresh and zesty finish.

Great on its own during summer time, it will also pair very well with grilled salmon, salads, roasted chicken or any white meat dish.

Brulesecaille Rouge Grande Reserve 2015

55% Merlot, 30% Cabernet sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Malbec.

The color is deep dark ruby. limpid and brilliant. The nose is intense and complex with hints of blackberries, sweet spicies, noble plain chocolate and Vanilla. The palate is full bodied, very long with well integrated tannins. The finish is very fresh and luscious with toasted notes in the background.

Average age of the vines is 30 years.
Manual harvest from September 21th to October 7th 2015.
Upon arrival at the winery, only the best grapes were selected using a sorting table.
Skin contact maceration during 2 weeks in temperature controlled vats.
Aged 12 months in Oak barrels. (1/3 new oak, 1/3 1 year old and 1/3 two year old barrels). They use 60% French Oak and 40% American Oak.

Served with red meat (beef filet, sirloin),  pork tenderloin, roasted duck breast with honey&orange sauce, roasted lamb with thyme, poultry and fine cheese.

Graviere La Rouge Cuvee les Terrasses 2015

Graviere La Rouge Cuvee les Terrasses is made of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep red color with a narrow purple rim. Attractive aromas of ripe, juicy cherry and blackberry over spice, integrated toasted aromas. The palate is balanced and full-bodied with supple tannins, displaying rich cherry flavors combined with gentle toasting characters and a touch of spice. The finish is lasting with a bitter almond aftertaste.

Average age of the vines is 25 years. 
Manual harvest from September 21th to October 7th 2015.
Upon arrival at the winery, only the best grapes were selected using a sorting table.
Skin contact maceration during 2 weeks in temperature controlled vats. 
75% of the final wine was aged in stainless steel tanks with French oak staves and blended with 25% of wine aged in barrels.

Serve with red, white meats, poultry and fine cheeses.


Vignac Bordeaux Kosher 2014

This wine is Kosher (Mevushal).
Vignac Bordeaux Kosher is made from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot.
Red and dark fruits, peppery aromas. Elegante structure. Full bodie

Traditionnal vinification. Long maceration to extract colors and structure. 10% of the wine was aged in French Oak barrel in order to bring a little complexity and spice.

Vignac Sparkling Brut Blanc de Blancs Kosher NV

This sparkling wine is Kosher (Mevushal).
It is made with 100% Chardonnay grapes, it is then a Blanc de Blancs (white wine made with white grapes).
Light yellow color. Persisting and delicate foam. Full flavor, nice fruits and floral notes. Well balanced.

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. Two months ageing in tanks.

Aperitif on his own, or with dessert.

Font du Jeu Cotes de Bordeaux 2015


Font du Jeu Cotes de Bordeaux  is made of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc,10% Cabernet Sauvignon

The nose is filled with blackberry and blackcurrant fruits, licorice and vanillin. Medium-bodied with a solid texture of dark fruit, roasted coffee, and spice flavors. Long finish.

Traditional vinification in small tanks. Four week maceration. Aging in 2-3 year old oak barrels for 16 months. No fining, no filtration.

great with "Entrecote a la Bordelaise" which is Beef Steak marinated in red wine with Shallots.


Landes Cuvee Tradition Lussac Saint Emilion 2015

Landes Cuvee Tradition Lussac Saint Emilion is made from 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc

Color: deep ruby intense color.
Aroma: racy and aromatic nose with aromas of ripe red fruit.
Taste: this wine is silky, round and smooth first taste, with aromas of raspberries, and blackcurrant, powerful and complex finish.

2003 Chateau Petit Bocq Saint-Estephe

Blackberry and currants follow through to a medium-bodied palate, with fine tannins and a fresh, fruity aftertaste.

Cambon la Pelouse Cru Bourgeois 2015

Cambon la Pelouse Haut Medoc is produced from a careful selection of the grapes. Made from 50% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 15% Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Limited yield: 45 hl/ha.
Aged in oak barrels for 12 months (50% new oak). Intense ruby/purple color. Delicate aromas of red fruit, liquorice, vanilla and caramel. Ripe fruit flavors, well balanced, great harmonious structure, silky tannins and a good length.

Pairs well with game and red meats, cured cheeses.

 

Bellevue Cotes de Bordeaux-Castillon Vielles Vignes 2015

Bellevue Cotes de Castillon Cuvee Vieilles Vignes Eleve en Futs de Chene is made from 65% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc.  Aged in mostly new oak barrels (90% French oak and 10% American oak), and some Château Haut Brion 2nd Barrels.

Chateau Castegens Cotes de Bordeaux Castillon 2015

Chateau Castegens Cotes de Bordeaux Castillon is made from 80% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon

Intense and deep vivace red color. 
Nose with black fruit, blackberry, cigar box, licorice, some delicate and integrated oak flavors as well.
In the mouth, we have an explosion of fruit flavors, spice and fine wood. The structure is rich, but the tannins are well integrated already. The finish is long and a slight mintiness give the wine a great length and some purity.

Located on top of a South facing steep vineyard, with great natural water drainage and an excellent sun exposure.
Harvest was conducted by machine in order to get the maximum ripeness. 
Then everything was sorted at the winery in order to get only the best fruit in the tanks.

Wine was aged in French Oak Barrels for 12 months.
