Winery Philosophy: Valsan 1831 is a project and a brand that become as a result of enthusiasm for good wine.
In 1831 valsangiacomo familly founded in Switzerland the company Fratelli Valsangiacomo Fu Vittore, oriented towarsd fine wine export worldwide. At the beging of last century, the company established in the center of the Mediterranean area, in Valencia, Spain, under Cherubino Valsangiacomo SA name.
Nowadays the fith generation of the Valsangiacomo familly produces and exports fine wines under Valencia and Utiel-Requena DO, obtaining many quality awards and rates.

In 1904 Cherubino Valsangiacomo produced the first vermouth bottle, afther 100 years, the fifth generation of the Valsangiacomo familly STILL making it with the ancestral formula devised by Benedetto Valsangiacomo.
White Vermouth, flavored fortified white wine base, together with aromatic mediterranean herbs such as fennel, chamomille and tyme, sweeted with sugar, and grape must caramel.
Ideal as an aperitif, on the rocks with an lemon slice. Also very good with cured and pickled products.

Thorn Clarke Mount Crawford Chardonnay is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
This Chardonnay is a fine example of Mount Crawford climate, soil and aspect combining to display great varietal characters. The light green color has a vibrancy that is characteristic of the wine. Peach and tropical fruit flavors are complemented by a creamy texture from lees contact and a small amount of exposure to French oak. This also gives the wine a rich, long but clean finish with delicious white peach, pear and citrus notes.
The winemaker recommends trying this wine with chicken teppanyaki.
Ayni Malbec Paraje Altamira is made from 100 percent Malbec.
Ayni is the Quechua term for the principle of reciprocity, practiced for centuries by the Andean people - "in order to receive, you first have to give." Chakana's renowned Paraje Altamira vineyard, which sits 3,300 feet above sea level, bears the name Ayni & is the source of the Ayni wines.
Deep ruby-red in color with violet hints. Complex and intense bouquet, featuring blackberries, cherries and plums, with delicate floral notes and spices. Balanced and fresh; full-bodied with good length of spices.
Pairs well with grilled meats and stews.
