Casanova di Neri was founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri in Montalcino, Tuscany, and has been led since the early 1990s by his son Giacomo Neri. The family farms a mosaic of vineyard holdings across the Brunello di Montalcino appellation, matching each site and clone of Sangiovese to the wine it suits best. Meticulous vineyard work and long, patient cellar aging have made the estate one of Montalcino's most celebrated names, with its Tenuta Nuova and Cerretalto bottlings counted among the reference wines of Brunello.
Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova 2018 is made from 100% Sangiovese.
Founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri and today led by his son Giacomo, Casanova di Neri is one of Montalcino's most acclaimed estates, farming a mosaic of vineyards across the appellation. Tenuta Nuova is their benchmark cru bottling — richly styled yet precise, and long regarded as one of Brunello's reference wines.
Brunello di Montalcino is made entirely from Sangiovese grown on the hills around the town of Montalcino in southern Tuscany, and aged for years before release. The Tenuta Nuova fruit comes from the warmer south-eastern side of the DOCG; the cooler, classically proportioned 2018 vintage yielded balanced, aromatic wines with fine, chewy tannins.
Review:
Elegant and perfumed nose of dried roses, violets, lemon zest, slate, cherries, aniseed and truffles. Very fine, tight and precise tannins. Medium to full body. I like the floral and saline undertones. So precise and fresh with a tight finish. Crushed stones at the end. Try in 2025, but already attractive to taste and drink.

Dr. Loosen Riesling Eiswein is made from 100 percent Riesling.
This vibrant, racy dessert wine conjures flavors of densely packed pear, apple and guava, with an intense, nervy edge in the aroma. It is luscious, silky and juicy on the palate, with bright acidity giving it a crisp, dynamic finish.

Valminor Albarino Rias Baixas is made from 100% Albarino.
Albariño is native to the Miño River region, which separates Galicia and the Rias Baixas DO from Portugal; it is prized for its characteristic citrus aroma and high acidity. Valminor Albarino presents a yellow-straw color. On the nose it shows a wide fruity range, with notes of fresh grapefruit, apricot and melon. In the mouth it combines fruity flavors and freshness with a rounded acidity, resulting in a balanced wine with an opulent taste and a slight spritziness.
