The Champagne region in France is actually known as, “The Land of Bubbles”. Located just east of Paris, Champagne sits along the Aisne, Vesle, and Marne rivers. The wine region stretches along the Marne River into Epernay. There is no other territory like it on the planet. The climate is quite rugged with sunny falls and summers and cool to cold winters. The soil can be quite chalky with a thin layer of topsoil. This type of soil provides perfect drainage and is an excellent base for grapes. The village of Champagne is located on rolling hillsides facing the southern slopes. The region produces almost 25 million bottles every year on over 34,000 hectares of vineyards. The main grapes that are grown in the region are Pinot Noir, Pino Muenier, and of course, Chardonnay. Over 300 villages are scattered around the wine region of Champagne. Each village is rated by grape potential and quality. There are 300 villages in the region, which are scattered around the area. The top 17 are designated as, “Grand Cru,” vineyards.
Its sparkling gold color is vivid and bright. The aromas are floral and honeyed with a wisp of vanilla. The palate is elegantly full with ripe white peach flavors and toasty overtones but balanced with a lively freshness, and delicacy on the long finish.
A beautiful tribute to the top champagne produced at the Maison Trouillard and a decadent partner to foie gras!
Trouillard Elexium Rose Brut NV rosé cuvée is made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes and aged for 3 years on the lees. The color is a seductive salmon pink with fine bubbles. The Pinot Noir gives this fruity wine its rich bouquet of raspberries and fresh-baked bread. On the palate it is rich yet balanced with lashings of red-berry fruitiness and an ephemeral creaminess. An enormously popular and versatile rosé, this wine is perfect with roast game birds or fowl, smoked salmon and creamy cheeses.
ELEXIUM stands for:
*EL for ELegence
*EX for EXcellence
*IUM- for Optimum and Summum
Review:
"This lovely Champagne displays a light copper salmon color and aromas of brioche, toasted nuts and herbs. It displays a creamy mousse and a soft creamy mouth feel with hints of strawberry jam and scones."

Pulled from a Gentleman's cellar, all wines from this cellar have been purchased by the owner either from the importer or direct from winery. They stayed in his cellar until being moved to the Timeless Wines warehouse.
A fresh, wild, and savory expression with vibrant acidity and an elegant structure. Earth-laced fruit aromas of blackberry bramble, dark cherry, and huckleberry seamlessly intertwine with savory hints of curry leaves and lobster mushrooms, accented by subtle notes of dried orange peel and baking spices. Earthy and floral elements—forest floor, conifer needles, and rose hips—carry through to the palate, beautifully integrated with effusive raspberry and cherry notes, leading to a long, spicy finish.
This impressive Pinot is polished and detailed, offering dynamic flavors of raspberry and blueberry, with mineral and brown baking spice hints that build richness toward fine-grained tannins.
