White Grenache is also known as Grenache Blanc. White Grenache originated from Spain’s Northern Region, but is also grown in Southern France. White Grenache is often used in blends, but can also be found in single variety wines. In France, it is used in Chateauneuf-du-Pape blends. In Spain, White Grenache is used in Priorat and Terra Alta wines. White Grenache produces a rich juice, straw-yellow in color, with notes of green apple and stone fruit on the nose. White Grenache is hearty and can survive drought and high winds. However, White Grenache can have difficulty reaching ideal acidity in warm and dry conditions.

A focused, concentrated wine with youthful energy and freshness nimbly balanced by supple tannin structure and finesse.
Review:
Blackcurrants, spiced cedar and dark spices with bark undertones. Full-bodied with very fine, velvety tannins. Textured and compact with a firm, lingering finish. Tight at the end. Needs time to open.
