The "La Castellina" farm originates from the ancient estates of the powerful Squarcialupi family , settled in the Chianti area since 1200. Today it is owned by the Bojola-Targioni family , who with great commitment and passion have transformed the winemaking reality of the company, introducing innovative techniques while respecting the Chianti traditions. The farm develops on the south-west side of the hill which slopes down from the medieval village of Castellina in Chianti towards the locality of "La Ferrozzola". It has an extension of about 140 hectares , 30 of which are planted with vineyards and 10 with olive groves.
