Morambro Creek Padthaway Shiraz is made from 100 percent Shiraz.
Deep inky black & purple in colour. The nose is perfumed with violet, blackberry, vanilla and spice with a touch of earth and liquorice over white pepper in the background. Expansive palate, smooth lush ripe back fruits nicely balanced oak, plenty of concentration with a long finish.

Oak maturation takes place using 35% new barrels both French and American. This blend was put together using select barrels from our family estate that best demonstrate the intensity of our fruit balanced by integrated oak.

"This is what Padthaway Shiraz is all about with powerful, sweet flavours nicely tempered by some more savoury nuances – Shiraz with a kicker. Quite deeply coloured, it opens up with an array of red and black fruit pastille aromas topped by bay leaf and black pepper backed up by a decent dose of oak – French and American, adding vanilla bean and toasted coconut. It’s then quite chunky on the palate, delivering plenty in both the flavour and complexity department. The fruit is fleshy and generous while reasonable tannins are well integrated and provide a solid backbone to fruit and oak. It’s a bit old fashioned in the oak department you might say but fans of oaky reds will lap it up in the blink of an eye."

"Moving to the 2019s from bottle, the Grenache-heavy 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Dame Voyageuse offers a beautiful array of both red and black fruits as well as classic Provençal notes of lavender, peppery garrigue, and flowers. Rich, medium to full-bodied, and beautifully textured on the palate, this is another terrific vintage for this cuvée, which remains an incredible value in the market today. It will drink nicely for 10-12 years if stored correctly."

The fine tannins build beautifully at the self-confidently dry finish, where spicy and chalky elements mingle beautifully, with just a hint of milk chocolate neatly accenting this. Deep ruby red, opaque. Aromas of red fruits, mocha, touches of leather, black truffles and coffee. Fat, very concentrated and full flavored, with an infinitely long liquoriced and fruity finish.
Pairs well with red meats, sauce dishes, game animals (woodcock, wild boar) and semi mature cheeses.

"Lastly, and a tiny production cuvée based on 100% Grenache brought up in new barrels, the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Plume Du Peintre reveals a saturated, almost inky purple color as well as a mammoth-sized bouquet of black currants, bloody meats, lead pencil, tobacco, chocolate, and crushed stone, it nevertheless has notable purity, a full-bodied, layered, seamless texture, no hard edges, and a thrilling finish that offers more and more minerality. with time in the glass. You don't see wines like this often today, but this is a singular, heavenly Grenache that's going to need 4-5 years of bottle age and live for 30-40 years if stored correctly given its concentration, structure, and purity. "Big, juicy, bold and powerful. Really driving, chunky, mouthfilling fruit and tannin. It's long, broad and expansive, a huge wine for those that enjoy massive Châteauneufs. It's all there though – the fruit, the ripeness, the smooth tannin , the acidity, the freshness. Will take time to come together then it will be very long lived. The most powerful Dame Voyageuse to date – don't expect an approachable second wine"

This premium cuvee - whose name means "Queen of the Woods" - is from 65-year-old vines, planted on Villafranchian-era terrasses. Yield is 30 hl/ha.

Rich, full-bodied, and incredibly concentrated, it has a brilliant sense of freshness and purity as well as length on the finish. It's going to require 4-5 years of bottle age, but this straight-up thrilling Châteauneuf du Pape will have 20-25 years of prime drinking."

The 2022 Post & Beam Cabernet Sauvignon displays seductive aromas of briar patch and plum sauce on the nose before leading onto a palate that is well-structured yet elegant. Round and textured on the palate, the entry is layered with cassis and blackberry. The finish exudes vanilla, mocha, and cocoa flavors alongside resolved tannins.

Richly appointed, with dark blue and purple fruit and a plush mouthfeel. Notes of plum liqueur and freshly roasted coffee grace the palate as dark chocolate and anise entwine with the wine's well-defined structure and satin-lined tannins. Our Sauvignon Blanc is grown in our estate Mary’s Vineyard in Calistoga, containing some of the oldest Sauvignon Blanc plantings in Napa Valley at more than 30 years old. The old vines offer concentration and complimentary young vines add vibrance, and a small amount of Semillon from the estate adds a roundness to the wine.
Every step of the winemaking process is designed to heighten the natural aromatics, flavor and vibrant acidity of Sauvignon Blanc: each lot of fruit is chilled, then whole-cluster pressed over two hours with 23 check-ins to isolate exactly the press of juice we want.
With its intense aromatics, vibrant fruit and bright acidity, this Sauvignon Blanc is refreshing and offers concentration, complexity and long finish that make it enjoyable on its own, interesting from first sip to last, as well as an ideal complement to food.
Suggested pairings: fresh oysters, lemon-herb roasted chicken and goat cheese salad.
