The La Zerba Estate
This is a family run winery located in the village of Tassarolo, in the Piemonte region.
The La Zerba Vineyard
The estate spreads over 10 hectares (24.7 acres). The vineyard is located 1,476 feet above sea level. This high elevation leads to crisp, white wines that have zesty, mineral and lively characteristics. Historically, the wines of Tassarolo have lead the DOC of Gavi as the best in the region, not Gavi di Gavi, which is all about marketing. The estate is 8.5 hectares (21 acres) and produces classic Gavi. Furthermore, in top years a special cru is produced called Terra Rossa, Gavi. The DOC Gavi was founded in 1974 and consists of these villages: Gavi, Tassarolo, Novi Ligure, Pasturana, Capriatta D’Orba, Serravalle Scrivia, San Cristo Toro, Parodi, Bosio, and Carosio. The grape of Gavi is Cortese.

Rombauer Vineyards Proprietor Selection Chardonnay is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
Proprietor Selection is a reserve Chardonnay produced only in exceptional vintages by blending the best barrels from the finest lots. The 2020 represents the 14th vintage in 41 years. Like all of our Chardonnays, this wine comes from Carneros where the cool climate and clay soils offer ideal growing conditions for the varietal.
This wine comes from elite vineyards in the Carneros region owned by the Rombauer family and select growers including the Sangiacomo family, long-term grower partners who have farmed this land for three generations
A beautiful pale yellow, there are multifaceted layers of aromas including caramelized pineapple, lemon rind, baked green apple, toast, and vanilla. The densely concentrated palate features notes of powerful stone fruit, floral honey, baking spice, and vanilla, all building, with a fresh, mouthwatering acidity, to a long and lingering finish.
Trione Pinot Noir River Road Ranch is made from 100 percent Pinot Noir.
River Road Ranch encompasses 115 acres in the heart of the Russian River Valley appellation. Located on the western bench of the Santa Rosa Plain, the vineyard thrives in well-drained soils. The region's fog-cooled nights are ideal for this varietal.
This Pinot Noir presents aromas of dark cherry, exotic spice, green tea and a slight earthiness we call forest floor. The wine is silky on the palate, beautifully balanced, with a long finish. The Pinot Noir's firm structure suggests excellent aging potential, 10-15 years.
We made this Pinot Noir in small lots, using traditional techniques —fermenting in open-top tanks and hand-plunging the caps during primary fermentation. To accentuate the outstanding fruit flavors, we added 20% whole clusters to the each fermenter. The Pinot Noir aged twelve months in French oak barrels (40% new) from coopers Meyrieux Traditional House and Remond.
