Soléna is a combination of Spanish and French words Solana and Soleil, celebrating the sun, the moon and cycles of life. We were launched in May of 2000 when our owners purchased our 80-acre estate which became the Domaine Danielle Laurent vineyard. Furthering their successful careers in the Oregon wine industry, Laurent Montalieu and Danielle Andrus Montalieu gifted this vineyard to each other for their wedding, and began a wine label named Soléna after their daughter.
Soléna Estate showcases the beauty of terroir in our site-specific wines. We craft delicious wine from our own estate vineyards in Yamhill-Carlton and McMinnville AVAs, as well as iconic single vineyards around the Northwest. We're well known for consistent, ageable Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Cabernet Sauvignon. However, our entrepreneurial spirit means we’re always expanding our offerings.

We are delighted to offer our first Beckstoffer Georges III bottling in many years. The spectacular vineyard site with its back to the Silverado Trail is the historic site of the grand old BV masterpieces produced for most of the last century. It is as pure an expression of Napa Valley terroir as is available anywhere, from anyone. Ripe and round black fruits, spice, blueberry, and cedar, and cigar box aromas are echoed on the palate and balanced by a preternatural lift from natural acidity and a swell of earth notes. A stunning achievement.
Review:
Thick in sage brush, dried herb and earth, this wine is powerfully built and unabashedly ripe. Dark black fruit, mocha and graphite notes arise along the thick, intense palate, leading to finishing touches of slate and iron. Cellaring will help to tame the tannins; enjoy from 2028–2035.

Toil Oregon Pinot Noir is made from 100 percent Pinot Noir.
Dark garnet color. Seductive aromas of black tea, tobacco, and crushed tart cherry and blackberry. Faint notes of vanilla and toast accentuate dark plumb and cherry character. The palate is seamless with silky texture and long sweetness. Classic Oregon Pinot Noir from an outstanding vintage. So incredibly pleased to present the first Toil Oregon Pinot Noir that includes fruit from Toil Estate Vineyard! It is an understatement to say our estate fruit is an amazingly positive contributor to the final blend.
Toil Oregon is the Willamette Valley Pinot Noir project of the Figgins family, long known for Leonetti Cellar and FIGGINS in Walla Walla. Drawing largely on Chehalem Mountains fruit, the 2022 — the first Toil to include estate-grown fruit — reflects a classic, cool Oregon season: red-fruited, savory and energetic, with the bright acidity that marks the valley.
Review:
Violet and lavender florals come together with crushed blackberries and hints of sage as the 2022 Pinot Noir blossoms in the glass. This sweeps across the palate with ripe wild berry fruits and sweet spices, taking on a crunch of tart cranberry toward the close. Blue and purple florals resonate as the 2022 finishes with a coating of edgy tannins and a raspberry concentration, all lifted by a bump of zesty acidity.
