Colchagua Valley is located in Rapel Valley, a sub-region of Chili’s Central Valley. The Colchagua Valley wine region is slightly cooler than the Maipo wine region, which is located to the north. The Valley has a consistent Mediterranean climate, with cooler nights due to the Pacific Ocean lying just south. The Colchagua Valley is evenly distributed with white and red grape varieties. As a rule, white grapes do better in cooler climates, while red grapes fare better in warmer weather. This is especially apparent in the region, as Merlot, Carmenere, Sauvignon, and Malbec are produced in the East, which is warmer, while Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay are planted in the West. Colchagua Valley is located on the Tinguiririca River and flows through the town of Santa Cruz and along the northern edge of the zone. Many wineries are located in this area. A river was formed in Colchagua from the melted ice caps of the Andean Mountain Peaks. Colchagua Valley has clay and silt soils that are ideal for grape growing. Wine enthusiasts claim the Colchagua Valley is becoming the best appellation in Chile.

Gran Reserva Viognier was aged for 6 months in French oak barrels with lees stirring to provide complexity and structure. The wine shows a pale yellow color with green tones. The nose offers intense notes of white peach, grapefruit and floral aromas. On the palate the wine is balanced, persistent and presents excellent balanced acidity.

Winemaking: This wine is a classic Bordeaux blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec, 8% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot.
. The 2010 growing season was moderate, thus promoting slow ripening and full flavor development. We hand-harvested and fermented each variety separately, then moved the wines to barrel, where they aged twelve months. Once we determined our blend, we returned the wine to barrel for an additional twelve months, to 'marry' the varietals. We used tight-grained French oak barrels (45% new) from coopers Taransaud, Vicard and Bossuet.
Winemaker Notes:
Complex, rich aromas foretell rich flavors of black currants, allspice and a hint of clove. The wine is full bodied, with velvety texture, smooth tannins and an extensive finish. Beautifully balanced, this Cabernet will age for ten more years.
Alcohol: 14.25 percent by volume

"Savory, dried red capsicum with cedar, cocoa powder and dried mushrooms on top of black cherries. Juicy and layered with some currants and savory earthy spices on the palate. Not quite deep, but a very elegant and savory expression of cabernet with a very long, subtle finish. A little sweet-sour, but quite refined and approachable, too. Drink now."

Corne Loup Cotes du Rhone Rouge is made from 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre.
Color: dark red ruby.
Aromas: red berries, truffles and spices.
Flavors: complex and rich. It shows red and black fruits, with an herbal spice type of aromas coming from the surrounding vegetation (Garrigue).
The average age of the vines is 40 years. (The oldest vines are 80 years old). Yield: 40 hl/ha The soil is mainly sandy marl and small pebble stones.
Lamb, duck, turkey, red meat, game and cheese.
