On the savory side, this red opens with freshly mowed grass, hay and eucalyptus aromas before revealing cherry, strawberry, rose and mineral flavors. Fleshy, with a matrix of dense tannins flexing their muscles on the finish. Shows excellent potential. Best from 2023 through 2042.

Floral and red fruit nose. Supple attack, very polished and concentrated, with fine-grained tannins and ample acidity. This has a linear drive, precision. and a very long finish. The rewards will be substantial for the patient consumer.

On the nose, it opens with mineral hints of flint, followed by sweet spices such as nutmeg. Citrusy notes of bergamot then emerge, together with delicate floral nuances and hints of rosehip. On the palate, it shows a sweet and juicy entry, with a medium to full body. It is warm and spicy, with a slightly piquant edge. Freshness balances the structure nicely, while the fruity finish, recalling ripe plums, is savory and persistent. It displays good softness and an overall sense of balance and harmony
Review:
A restrained wine with a graceful nose of subtle red cherries, wild strawberries, sweet violets and complex earth and tamarind. Full-bodied with licorice flavors, a dense mid-palate and velvety tannins that are powerful yet ripe. Slightly lifted acidity and a long,chewy finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2027.
