Twin Stars celebrates Shenandoah University’s 150 years in the Shenandoah Valley with a wine that speaks to its Virginia heritage through the Norton grape, first cultivated in Virginia. With aromas of caramel and vanilla and notes of cherry and coffee, this medium-bodied red pairs well with rich dishes and red meat. Norton is a specialty of its producer, Chrysalis Vineyards in Middleburg, Virginia. Its name refers to the twin stars of Shenandoah – its original location in Dayton, Virginia, and its current main campus home in Winchester, Virginia – and the origin of the word Shenandoah, which may come from an indigenous legend of the stars casting their jewels upon a beautiful river and its valley. 

Sherwood Estate Riesling is made from 100 percent Riesling. 

Tasting Notes

A Riesling that captures the true essence of a Waipara Valley aromatic wine. Full flavoured with delicate fruit and floral elements balanced with a smooth mouthfeel and subtle sweetness.

Winemakers Notes

Grown on our Waipara Valley vineyards the grapes were harvested over a period of two weeks at varying degrees of ripeness allowing for a range of fruit flavours and complexity. This shows in the final wine with great depth of flavour throughout the palate with well-balanced acidity leaving you wanting more.

Tasting Notes

A fresh and zesty Sauvignon Blanc, bursting with juicy ripe flavours of gooseberry, guava and lime. The mouthwatering finish leaves you wanting more.

Winemakers Notes 

Only the most premium fruit was selected for this wine. Following harvest the fruit was gently pressed, allowed to settle and cool ferment for three weeks. Three months of lees contact has imparted a depth of fruit flavour. The parcels of wine were then blended before being lightly fined and filtered prior to bottling. The finished wine is delicate displaying fine fruit flavours and bright acidity.

Shibumi Knoll Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is made from 100 percent Pinot Noir, 20 percent in new French Oak.

“Moving to the reds, the 2021 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast comes from the Riddle Vineyard in Sonoma and spent 10 months in 20% new French oak. Black raspberries, sappy herbs, spring flowers, and some black tea notes all give way to a medium-bodied, elegant, vibrant Sonoma Pinot Noir with supple, fine-grained tannins and a great finish. It will age, but it's too good to resist today.”

Siegel Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100 percent Cabernet Sauvignon. 
Pre-fermentative cold maceration for 5 days, with alcoholic fermentation occurring at 27-29 degrees C to better extract polyphenols from the wine. Post-fermentative maceration for 2 to 3 weeks. Once the wine has been blended it is smoothly clarified. Aged in French oak barrels for 10 to 12 months.

The grapes for the Gran Reserva wines are the product of a careful selection of Siegel's best vineyards in the Colchagua Valley, harvested by hand, and revealing a strong expression of the land.

Deep ruby red with aromas of cassis, red fruits, black pepper, black cherries, tobacco, cinnamon and chocolate. On the palate it is highly concentrated with juicy notes of red fruits and spices. Structured & complex from the oak aging.

Serve with red meat, braised stews, grilled pork and flavorful cheeses.

Siegel Gran Reserva Carmenere is made from 100% Carmenere.
