All the magic and personality of the ancestral Levantine varieties in a fresh and fluid wine.

It comes from two plots of old vines, of the Verdil and Merseguera and Moscatel varieties, cultivated in a traditional way.

Our respect for historical viticulture and enology leads us to minimal intervention crops and preparations. We reduce treatments as much as possible, seeking a balance between the vines and their environment

Luis XIV Vino Noble is a naturally sweet red wine, made from very late Monastrell harvests. All of its sugar and alcohol comes from the grape itself and has been subjected to a long aging in semi-new American oak barrels. In the mouth it is very intense, sweet without cloying, with aromas of stewed plums and a very long finish of spicy oak wood. RATING: Noble Alicante sweet wine

Maionnette Mediterranee Blanc is made from 30% Rolle, 30% Viognier, 20% Semillon and 20% Sauvignon Blanc.

Domaine de la Maïonnette is produced from grapes benefiting from an ideal location next to the river and planted on a clay-limestone based soil with a silty character, which brings suppleness, roundness and lightness to the wines.

La Maionnette is a brilliant straw yellow colored white offering delicate aromas of citrus fruits, and fresh notes of pear and apricot. Rich and round on the palate, and a good balance.

Mollydooker Blue Eyed Boy is made from 100 percent Shiraz.  

Dense in color with vibrant dark purple hues. A complex, alluring and lifted nose of blueberry, dark cherry, caramel and hints of vanilla bean leap from the glass. Powerful yet delicate, the wine voices luscious layers of fresh berries, black pepper, coffee and a finishing note of chocolate cream. Full bodied, well defined tannins provide the backbone, as the wine fills the mouth and continues to evolve with every glass poured.

WHO IS THE BLUE EYED BOY?

The Blue Eyed Boy is Sarah’s son, Luke. Stomping grapes as a kid and now heading up the Mollydooker Sales Team.

TASTING NOTES:

The 2022 Blue Eyed Boy is impressively deep in colour, displaying vibrant dark purple hues. Its aromatic profile is both intricate and inviting, with scents of blueberry, fresh plum, and subtle hints of mocha cream bursting from the glass. This wine is a balance of strength and finesse, delivering layers of lush, fresh berries and a touch of aniseed spice, culminating in a final note of creamy chocolate. With generous and dynamic layers, the wine allows the gentle tannins to craft a smooth and enduring finish, ensuring a truly memorable experience. 

TECHNICAL NOTES:

The grapes were grown on the Coppermine Road, Gateway, Long Gully Road and Mollydooker Home vineyards in McLaren Vale, and Joppich vineyard in Langhorne Creek. Barrel fermented and matured in 100% American oak, using 54% new and 46% one year old barrels. The required Marquis Fruit Weight™ for the Family Series is 75% – 85%. The Actual Fruit Weight for 2022 Blue Eyed Boy is 79%.

Montebuena Blanco is made from 80% Viura and 20% Tempranillo Blanco.

What truly sets Montebuena apart is its unique position where the Ebro river is closest to the Sierra Cantabria mountains, creating a blend of Mediterranean and Continental climates that prevents an excess of rain and extreme cold. In addition, the shallow, calcareous soil limits the yield of the harvest and the size of the grapes while increasing the volume of the skins, resulting in deeper color and a greater concentration of flavor.

Fresh and intense on the palate, although the acidity gradually smoothes out as the wine passes through the mouth and gives way to sweetness combined with a slightly bitter note and silky feel that balances the first sensation.

In our exploration of the North Coast wine region, we found the sandy loam soils of the Russian River AVA to offer the best Pinots with balanced, natural acidity and richness on the palate. Our Outerbound Pinot Noir opens with layered aromas of ripe red cherry, pomegranate and cola fruits on the nose, with flavors of juicy strawberry and rhubarb pie carried through the wine’s lingering dusty tannic finish.

The nose leads with a bright pop of red fruit, including cherry and raspberry, followed by hints of cola and baking spices and a light herbal note. The palate shows darker fruit including blueberry and plum, and has a round mouth feel with firm, mouthwatering tannins. The finish brings a dark chocolate note and a long, lingering finish. 

Review:

Meaty and dark-fruited nose. Full-bodied with slightly chewy tannins. I like the bright acidity and definition of fruit on the palate here. Lifted and juicy. Delicious.

 Patrimony Caves des Lions is made from 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc.

 With an inky ruby color, the 2020 Caves des Lions offers elegant aromas of chocolate-covered espresso beans with nuanced layers of blueberries, savory notes of charcuterie, pipe tobacco, and woodsmoke. This festival of flavors continues on the palate with notes of fresh fruit, cayenne pepper, plum jam, and pomegranate. The bold tannins seamlessly balance the fresh and rounded acidity leading to an unwavering finish. This full-bodied and flawlessly intricate wine will surprise you now with its elegance, and later with its longevity.

The impressive, compact tannin structure gives depth to the wine, so fine and polished with some chalky texture to it. Stony minerality. At the foot of Spring Mountain, the vineyard produces soil and mineral-driven cabernet sauvignon with aromas of ripe blackcurrant and damp earth. A dense palate of blackberry and cassis flavors harmonize with intense mineral expressions bolstered by soft, lush tannins.

Review:

Superb aromas of blackberries, currants, crushed stones, conifer and wet earth. Menthol, too. Full-bodied with a dense center-palate, yet it remains agile and persistent. Lovely character and richness at the finish, but not overpowering. Another three or four years will make it better, but already gorgeous.

A refreshing and crisp, dry white with notes of grapefruit and hints of candied pineapple on the nose. Pearmund Cellars is the largest producer of this standout varietal in the Americas.

Pernot Belicard Aligoté is produced from old vines planted in 1956 and 1971 by Philippe Pernot's grand father. 

Wine is very aromatic, with some tropical notes with a hint of white flowers and white peach. The wine is also quite mineral, due to the Aligote grapes grown on limestone soils in the commune of Puligny Montrachet. Finish is long and balanced. 

Oysters, St Jacques Cassolette, Roasted Gambas, Comté Cheese.

The grapes for this wine come from a small parcel of 6 acres in the village of Puligny-Montrachet, resulting in wines of exceptional quality. The same viticulture and vinification methods are applied for all the wines from the Domaine.

The wine offers an expressive nose of white flowers, stone fruits and buttered bread notes. The mouth is mineral and elegant, and delicate toasty nuances bring extra length in the mouth alongside a fresh acidity and a good balance.

Produced with Nebbiolo grapes from one of the highest plots in the area, at over 500 meters above sea level.

This is an elegant Nebbiolo - fresh and fruity with simple tannins (thanks to the white calcareous soil) and good minerality.

No oak. Aged on the lees for 4 months in Stainless Steel Tan

Pierin Valetta is one of the ancestor of the Family and these wines are dedicated to him as we would like to thank him for giving us vineyards that reach up to 70 years old.

Made from 20 years old vines planted on Limestone soils. 
No Oak. The wine was aged on the lees for 4 months in Stainless Steel Tanks. 
Wine was slightly filtered before bottling.

Quercia nelle Langhe Barbaresco is 100% Nebbiolo.

From the famous “Serra Capelli” vineyards on the Serra Capelli hills in Neive.

Beautiful, intense garnet red, Its bouquet is fruity and spicy, with reminiscences of raspberries and blueberries, and hints of vanilla and cocoa.

Full, enchanting and elegant taste, with a good body

Quinta do Cotto, Vintage Port 1989 has been pulled from a Gentleman's cellar, all wines from this cellar have been purchased by the owner either from the importer or direct from winery. They stayed in his cellar until being moved to the Timeless Wines warehouse.
