A combo of garnet to cardinal highlights the hues of this fruit forward Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. Subtle floral hints of tea leaf and rose petal give way to a complexity of viney, brambled red and black fruit, wet moss and baking spices. A hint of savory jerky barrel nuance and turned earth contrast the freshness and vibrancy of boysenberry fruit. The finish is refined and juicy, as the elegant tannin structure builds into a crescendo of salivating acids built for food.
Pair with herb crusted pork loin, mushroom risotto drizzled with truffle oil, or a creamy textured Roucoulons cheese.
Laird Pinot Noir Ghost Ranch is made from 100 percent Pinot Noir
9 months in French Oak (60% new)
Vineyard workers have long reported seeing people between the rows and down by the creek, people who simply disappear when approached. Hence the name “Ghost Ranch”. This is our family’s seventh vintage of Pinot Noir.
Tasting Notes: With enticing garnet hues, that leads way to aromas of fresh raspberries, toasty oak, Bing cherries and baking spice. With a medium body and a balanced smooth palate that opens to distinct layers of wild strawberry, vanilla & sweet cherry compote.
Easily paired with a variety of cuisine including Pasta Puttanesca, cedar plank salmon or Paella.
Voix de la Vigne Pinot Noir is 100 percent Pinot Noir. Vintage report: Higher than normal temperatures in spring allowed for early bloom, flower and fruit-set in perfect conditions. The last rains were waved away on the second of June and the Willamette Valley enjoyed a warm and dry growing season with temperatures never threatening over-ripeness. The harvest began in the last week of August, almost a full month earlier than normal. Grape clusters were larger than usual as a result of a very giving vintage, allowing for larger yields at high levels of quality. A twin to 2014, although a year apart, the 2015 vintage provided pristinely clean fruit with minimal ill-effects due to disease, pests and birds. With the wines showing extraordinary balance between fruit, sugar and acidity, the harmony of the 2015 vintage sets the stage for some stellar Oregon wines.
Tasting Notes: Fresh raspberry aromas open immediately on the nose followed by darker fruits, brambles and a touch of black pepper. The flavors on the palate are exuberant red berries with a slight hint of dried herbs. The mouthfeel is fresh with balanced fruit and the finish lingers with a soft velvet texture.
Age of the vines: between 8 and 35 years old.
Soil: Volcanic and Sedimentary
The fruit underwent a two-day soak prior to fermentation for a total of nineteen days of skin contact. 100% malolactic fermentation occurred over a five month period.
Wine was slightly filtered before bottling.

The nose explodes with aromas of cassis, cured meats, coffee, licorice, dark chocolate, and spice. Full-bodied, this flawlessly balanced wine will keep you thinking for a long time while the finish does not stop.
Reviews:
This truly world-class blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Cab Franc continues to impress. It possesses an in- comparable mouthfeel, setting a benchmark for the region. Its sultry, round, violet- and cocoa-kissed tannins engage with a plum-pudding effect. The body weight is perceptible, engaging with a gliding wash of kirsch and black pepper to make for a silky, textural dream.

The 2019 Caves des Lions is a blend of free-run Cabernet Sauvignon (52%) and Cabernet Franc (48%) matured for 22 months in 100% new French oak and bottled in December of 2021. Opaque ruby in color, it has layered aromas of blackcurrant, lilac, graphite, fried savory herbs and game meats. The full-bodied palate is powerful yet balanced, its restrained, mineral-laced fruit complemented by mouthwatering acidity, and it boasts a long, graceful finish. Harmonious and latent, it will demand plenty of patience as it unwinds in bottle—the Patrimony wines tend to age at a glacial pace.
