Alessandro, who was born in 1969, has always been involved in the world of wine as a family heritage so acquiring deep experience in the wine branch. In fact, his knowledge of wine derives from the long tradition of his family, who started producing their own wine at the beginning of last century when his great-grandfather Giovanni and later on his grandfather Ercole transformed their farm producing and selling grapes into a wine estate becoming wine-makers. From their experience Alessandro learned the unconditioned, deeply-rooted love for this land and his work, which, with the support of his innate commercial ability, in 2012 lead him to start a new challenging business project.
He needed and had courage, confidence in his force, dedication, infinite passion, and, why not, also a bit of insanity, since for any change in our life we cannot leave out these elements that form Alessandro Rivetto’s personality.

Domaine Meo-Camuzet Corton Les Perrieres Grand Cru 2020
Your first impression of Les Perrieres is that of a typical Corton, as it is so frequently described: austere, slow to mature, tannic. But that impression should be moderated because the wine is apparently multifaceted: frankness, certainly, but also an underlying structure that lines the palate and a finish marked by minerality. There's no heaviness, which facilitates the expression of this complexity. A long ageing period is certainly beneficial.
Review:
One of the highlights of the range this year is the 2020 Corton Grand Cru Les Perrières, a vibrant, mineral wine evocative of wild berries, forest floor, rich spices and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and vibrant, with beautifully refined tannins and a long, penetrating finish, it's well worth seeking out.

Turley Zinfandel Buck Cobb is made from 100 percent Zinfandel.
Organically farmed head-trained vines planted at 1500' in the granite and quartz soils of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Primarily savory and red-fruited, with characteristics of black pepper, dried meats and fine-grained tannin texture.
This would be an excellent pairing with wood-fired pizza.
