Founded in 1862, Casir dos Santos is one of the oldest wineries still operating today. With more that 100 years of history, the winery was selected to nurture our project. This is how Casir dos Santos was born. A winery which brings together a great history and a team of people who continuously bring professionalism, creativity and passion.
The winery was modernized and equipped with “state of the art” technology - a real example of science and technology placed at service of the most noble beverages to maintain its essence unpolluted. We produce wine form vineyards in 3 different places in the Uco Valley, and from Lujan de Cuyo and Maipu, we have the best from every wine region in Mendoza Winery Acreage: 142 Winery Production: 20,000 / 9L cases Varietals Produced: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay Winemaker: Didier Debono Vineyards: Finca Biondolillo, INTA, Novifruit, Pavot Dor, A16 and Gabrielli We strongly believe that winemaking is the art of liberating the vines essence outgrown from their weather and soils conditions. Redigaffi has an intense color that arouses enthusiasm and satisfy the sight, it highlights great complexity characterized by the fruity attack in the mouth leaving then “room” to tobacco and liquorice notes. Good concentration given by the pre-harvesting activity, three passages and perfect maturation reached by our grapes.
Outstanding complexity. Floral notes typical of our “Macchia Mediterranea” are intense and persistent. The elegance of tannins is enhanced by the great structure and balance. Considerable extraction and good acidity.
Review:
Wow. The aromas are really something else with red fruits, black olives, spices like cardamon and nutmeg, as well as hints of tar and meat. It’s full-bodied yet in check and focus with fine, fine tannins that roll over the palate and create beautiful motion. Chewy yet silky and endless. A great young merlot and one of the best for a number of years.

The Cotes du Rhone Reserve from Domaine Grand Veneur — the Alain Jaume family's estate in Orange — is a Grenache-led blend with Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvedre off the appellation's limestone, sand and red-clay terraces. Vinified in tank and bottled young, it's all wild raspberry, blackcurrant and blackberry with a lick of licorice and pepper: a supple, everyday southern Rhone red. Shown here in the 375ml half-bottle.
