Under the canopy of the massive Pinea tree in the heart of Spain’s legendary Ribera del Duero winemaking region, PINEA founders and longtime friends Vicente Pliego and Hugo T. Del Pozzo had an inspiring conversation that led to an epiphany: that their calling was to use the magnificent characteristics of this land to produce one of the best wines in the world.

San Giorgio Ugolforte presents a dark core of red and black berry fruit layered with earth, leather, smoke, and herbs. Complex and elegant, the wine is full on the palate and firm in tannin structure. Refreshing acidity frames a graceful finish. Classic Brunello di Montalcino.
This red is marked by cherry, plum, thyme, sage and loam aromas and flavors. Lively and firmly structured, featuring a saline undercurrent. An open-knit version, with nice equilibrium, fine energy and a long, resonant finish.

Ottella Lugana Bianco is a white wine made from 100% Trebbiano di Lugana (same as Verdicchio)
The grapes for this wine come from the estate vineyards in San Benedetto di Lugana - vineyards that are most suitable due to the high content of white clay.
Intense straw yellow color with green tinges. Exotic notes, candied and citrus fruits, fine and elegant minerality. Warm and deep on the nose. Expressive finesse, rich and persistent texture on the palate.
Pairs best with fish-based plates, soup, pasta or rice, white meats.
