Ribusieri incorportates innovative farming techniques into its production, integrating their own distinctive environmentally sustainable methods into the making of Sangiovese and Vermentino. The estate is located in the village of Montecucco, where the winemaking tradition has ancient roots.
Although its viticultural roots date back to the 8th Century, Montecucco only received its DOC in 1998. At that time there were only 10 registered producers, today there are 80.
Cinigiano where Ribusieri is located is in the heart of the Moncucco. The soil is arid, with a mix of sandstone and clay. The estate is nestled 180 meters above sea level on the southwest foothills of the ancient volcano, Mount Amiato in the Valley of the Orcia river. On the right bank of the Orcia lies its more famous cousin, Montalcino and on the no lesser left bank lies Ribusieri.

Bastgen Kestener Paulinshofberg Riesling Spatlese is 100 percent Riesling.
Yellow color with green highlights.
Beautiful peach aromas on the nose, rich and ripe fruits on the mouth with a refreshing acidity and honey notes. A very pleasing wine.
They meticulously tend 4.5 ha (11.11 acres) of which 80% is Riesling. The soil is made of slate. Their vineyards are located in Kesten and Brauneberg, on a steep terrace, and planted to 50-year old vines. Fortunately for Bastgen, they own part of the famous Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr. The vines produce very small, ripe berries that are very tasty.
