CELEBRATING 31 YEARS OF WINE MAKING EXCELLENCE.
Willowcroft boasts breathless panoramic views of Loudoun Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Willowcroft’s personal attention to detail, both in the vineyard and the winery, has resulted in national award-winning wines, time after time. In the 1800s the slopes were recognized for their potential and were planted to orchards. Today vineyards, which have replaced the fruit trees, yield superior grapes. The rustic beauty of the winery, housed in the old red barn, and the award-winning wines, will give you reason to return to this peaceful spot.
Willowcroft started planting albarino in 2010 after Lew visited Galicia trying to find a replacement for Chardonnay that had been lost to flavescence doree.
The wine is dry with earthy citrus & mineral notes and a touch of peach on the finish.

Harvested from home Vineyards (brix 24.4 and TA 6.9).
No Malo-Lactic fermentation in order to preserve a good acidity and some freshness.
Fermented and aged for 7 months in Stainless steel tanks.

Hahn Family Wines Lucienne Doctor's Vineyard Pinot Noir is made from 100 percent Pinot Noir.
Located in the middle stretch of the Santa Lucia Highlands, the 243-acre Doctor’s Vineyard experiences warmer temperatures and higher winds than Hahn’s other estate vineyards in the region. Certified sustainable, the vineyard ranges from 320 feet to 720 feet above sea level, with gently sloped hillsides and wide row spacing that offers greater sun exposure. The dry and slightly warmer climate here results in a riper more robust Pinot Noir, with expressive aromas of red cherry, plum and orange zest along with hints of sage, clove and white pepper. The wine has great mid-palate structure, smooth soft tannins, flavors of red cherry, bramble berries and a touch of warm spice on a refreshing lingering finish.
Review:
Strong smoke aromas surround the black-cherry, loamy soil, crushed granite and iodine elements on the nose of this bottling. Mesquite- and oak-smoked fruit and meat flavors show powerfully on the sip, which is quite savory.

Guillemot-Michel Vire Clesse is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
Beautifully expressive, with yellow fruits, orange blossom, smoke & flint. Thick and saline on entry, then seriously deep in the mid-palate, with suggestions of exotic fruits perfectly countered by strong minerality. This wine strikes a perfect balance between sweet and salty elements, and it shows vibrant acidity. It boasts a thickness that few other northern Mâconnais can match.
Enjoy with fish (such as sole meuniere), seafood, roasted chicken, goat cheese.
Review:
Notes of crisp green orchard fruit, oatmeal, clear honey, white flowers and mint introduce the 2019 Viré-Clessé Quintaine, a medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated wine that's deep and sapid, framed by lively acids and chalky structuring dry extract. If the 2018 is open and demonstrative, the 2019 is built to age and will really reward some patience.
