Bressia Monteagrelo Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100 percent Cabernert Sauvignon.
Vineyards are 3,000 feet above sea level, located in Lujan de Cuyo.

Intense red color with purple tones. Pepper, spice and red fruit aromas on the nose. Well balanced, ripe and harmonious. Full bodied with great structure.
Monteagrelo Cabernet Franc has beautiful ruby red with purple highlights.
It displays aromas of ripe red berries with a nice wood smoke complexity, thanks to the aging in French oak barrels. The wine has a very good structure, but the tannins are still quite round and integrated.
Aged in French and American oak barrels for 15 months. No filtration and no fining.
The finish is very long and will allow the wine to be consumed with food, such as grilled meat or cheese.

Attractive and intense red-colored wine with purple tones. It exhibits ripe red and black fruit aromas, mixed with vanilla, chocolate and coffee nuances. Good concentration, great structure, delicate tannins and a long, harmonious finish.

Winemaking: This wine is a classic Bordeaux blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec, 8% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot.
. The 2010 growing season was moderate, thus promoting slow ripening and full flavor development. We hand-harvested and fermented each variety separately, then moved the wines to barrel, where they aged twelve months. Once we determined our blend, we returned the wine to barrel for an additional twelve months, to 'marry' the varietals. We used tight-grained French oak barrels (45% new) from coopers Taransaud, Vicard and Bossuet.
Winemaker Notes:
Complex, rich aromas foretell rich flavors of black currants, allspice and a hint of clove. The wine is full bodied, with velvety texture, smooth tannins and an extensive finish. Beautifully balanced, this Cabernet will age for ten more years.
Alcohol: 14.25 percent by volume

"Savory, dried red capsicum with cedar, cocoa powder and dried mushrooms on top of black cherries. Juicy and layered with some currants and savory earthy spices on the palate. Not quite deep, but a very elegant and savory expression of cabernet with a very long, subtle finish. A little sweet-sour, but quite refined and approachable, too. Drink now."

Bressia Profundo is made from 50% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 10% Syrah
Profundo began during the era of “assemblages” in Argentina; wines from various grapes combined in different proportions, achieving a singular, complete wine with great definition.
The Malbec, the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Syrah come from Lujan de Cuyo vineyards 3,100 feet above sea level. Planted 6,500 plants per hectare.
Intense red color with purple tones. Delicate strawberry, blackberry aromas intertwined with chocolate, tobacco, dulce de leche and vanilla nuances. Harmonious and elegant in the mouth with a long finish.

"The 2017 Bressia Profundo is half Malbec with 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 10% Syrah from Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo and was aged in used American and French barrels. A rich purple in color, the complex nose offers violets and white pepper with hints of ripe plum, raspberry and blackcurrant with whiffs of mint and balsam over a bed of oak. Bressia Monteagrelo Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 is aged in French and American oak barrels for 15 months.
Intense red color with purple tones.
Pepper, spice and red fruit aromas on the nose. Well balanced, ripe and harmonious. Full bodied and a great structure.
"Aged 15 months in a combination of American and French oak, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Monteagrelo is more backward than the 2011 Malbec. It possesses a dense ruby/purple color along with notes of creme de cassis, tobacco leaf, cigar smoke, spice and vanillin. Medium to full-bodied with light-to-moderate tannin, good density and richness, it should drink well for 6-8 more years.
A new estate for me, Bodega Bressia-s proprietor, Walter Bressia, has been in the Argentine wine trade for nearly three decades. My favorite of Bressia-s three white wines, the 2010 Lagrima Canela ($50 a bottle) was too expensive to be included in this report, but it-s a killer wine. A barrel-fermented blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Semillon, it is a rich, textured, honeyed effort displaying notes of figs, melons, mangoes and other tropical fruits. I tasted two other Bressia wines that were priced too high for this report, the 2009 Profundo (50% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% each Merlot and Syrah); ($40.00; 92 points) and the prodigious 2009 Conjuro (50% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot); ($120.00; 96 points)."

The Bressia Winery
The patriarch of the Bressia Winery family is Walter Bressia. He has worked in the wine business in Argentina for nearly 30 years. Walter’s knowledge and skill shine through in the Bressia wines. From 1998 to 2003, Walter was the winemaker for Bodega Vistalba and Viniterra. In 2003, Walter and his family began their own winery. The Bressia Winery family includes wife Marita, daughter Marita, and son, Walter Jr. The Bressia Winery has been producing some of Argentina’s finest wines with only the highest quality technology and a hands-on approach to each and every product. The Bressia Winery incorporates the “Vinos de Autor” concept. This translates to “Author’s wines”, or personalized, high quality wines. The Bressia Winery boasts 320 oak barrels, all nearly new French and American oak. (60% French, 40% American).

Rombauer Vineyards Proprietor Selection Chardonnay is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
Proprietor Selection is a reserve Chardonnay produced only in exceptional vintages by blending the best barrels from the finest lots. The 2022 represents the 16th vintage in 44 years. Like all of our Chardonnays, this wine comes from Carneros where the cool climate and clay soils offer ideal growing conditions for the varietal.
This wine comes from elite vineyards in the Carneros region owned by the Rombauer family and select growers including the Sangiacomo family, long-term grower partners who have farmed this land for three generations
Expressive and concentrated aromas of grapefruit and lime sorbet with hints of clove are present in the glass. It is rich and intense on the palate with sweet peach, clove, and freshly baked pastry flavors. There is a bright refreshing acidity that gives way to more stone fruit flavors that continue to build on the very long and concentrated finish.
Mas Redonne Bandol Rose is made from 55% Mourvèdre, 35% Cinsault, 10% Grenache.
Nice light salmon color, typical of Bandol.
The wine expresses some citrus, Pomelos (a delicious type of grapefruit) and lots of white fruit aromas and minerality.
The flavors are fresh, fruity and very aromatic with tons of apricot and mango.
Grilled salmon, chicken dishes as well as salads, sushi and sashimi.
