Chenin Blanc is from the heart of the French Loire Valley. Chenin blanc is a white wine grape variety, and is also known by the term "Pineau de la Loire". Chenin Blanc produces wines high in acidity and can be used to create sparkling wines, or dessert wines. In South Africa, Chenin Blanc is the most grown grape type in the region. It is said that Jan van Riebeeck first grew the variety in the country. The Chenin blanc variety is said to have its roots in the Anjou wine region during the ninth century and was then introduced in the region of Touraine centuries later. Soils that contain high clay levels are typically great locations to plant the variety. Chenin Blanc creates strong dessert wines that typically need to mature and age. Chenin Blanc is typically ripe and ready to harvest late in the year, however, the buds on the vine grow early. If the Chenin Blanc is grown in a cool region, it can create a sweeter wine. Sparkling wines are often created with Chenin blanc grapes and pairs very nicely with food. Dry versions of the wine pair well with fresh and light dishes, such as fish or salads. Sweeter types of the Chenin blanc wines are great with rich dishes or with heavy and rich foods, including pate or sauces that are typically creamy. Wines including Chenin Blanc crafted in South Africa and other parts of the globe tend to have sweet fruit aromas, including flavors of banana or guava.

Alain de la Treille Symphonie Cremant de Loire Brut is made from 90% Chenin Blanc and 10% Orbois (also known as Arbois or Menu Pineau)
The wines of Alain de la Treille reflect their vineyard of origin and are produced following the estate's unique guidelines: a strict selection of terroirs and vines, elaboration according to the traditional method and long maturation “sur lattes” in order to obtain the purest and most elegant expression of the Loire terroirs.

Mon Chenin means "My Chenin". This is Alexandre Monmousseau's personal view of what the Chenin blanc grape from France is - full of floral and fresh white fruits, a palate of yellow fruits and floral flavors, finishing clean, fresh, and dry.
Serve as Apéritif, seafood, fishes with buttery sauce, Asian cuisine, hard cheeses.
Alexandre M Mon Mouss Petillant Naturel NV is made from 100% Chenin Blanc.
Mon Mouss is my nick name at school. Monmousseau = Mon Mouss.
Mousseux means bubbly ... Mon Mouss is also a play of word meaning MY BUBBLY.
The wine is a Pet'nat' produced using a Methode Ancestrale. Lime tree and litchi with apple and pear flavors.
Serve as Aperitif or with seafood, oysters, light hard cheeses, and just for fun, by itself.

In 1992 the Hill-Smith family counted themselves amongst those fortunate enough to own a vineyard upon the famous Coonawarra terra rossa soil over limestone. Experimentation, innovation, minimalist intervention and small batch winemaking has resulted in The Menzies’ reputation as a wine of longevity, elegance and structure.
Deep crimson with a plum hue. Aromas of fresh blackcurrants, mulberry, ozone, violets and exotic spices. Take a sip and you will feel the poise and tension for which great Cabernet is renowned. A wine of great complexity with flavors of blackcurrant jubes, bitter chocolate and mulberries, wrapped in divine tannins and a lovely sweet, dark fruit finish. With decanting in its youth it is enjoyable as an elegant full-bodied red wine.
Wonderful with a chargrilled rib eye on the bone or porcini mushroom, thyme and quinoa risotto.
Review:
Prune plums and blackcurrants. Violets, lavender leaf and black cherry. Olive tapenade, rosemary and crushed black peppercorn. The wine is held together by a fine mesh of grape and subtle oak tannins, intertwined with pure Coonawarra cabernet fruit. It’s chiselled in its dimension, and you might miss it, as it has such great drinking pleasure. Fruit purity, lovingly handled equals total seduction.

Argot Starstruck Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot (15-25 years old)
An explosive nose of Cabernet—singular only to the Napa Valley—introduces the 2019 Starstruck with classically elegant red and black Cabernet fruits, enhanced by notes of smoked sage and rosemary. Red-fruits carry the mid-palate, dancing on a pillow of wonderfully sweet tannin and pie spice complexity. As the wine transitions from the mid, acid emerges lifting Starstruck's massive palate into a warming finish that continues to reveal dark fruits and intriguing spice accents. A gorgeous Cabernet that remains approachable, while its structure and earthy complexities keep bombast at bay.
