Review:

"A hint of dried pear and dried lime zest plays before juicier lime speaks. The palate has a similar tension between ripe, almost dried fruit richness, while zestiness tones it all down into taut slenderness. This is exciting, textured, juicy and totally moreish. There is something concentrated and pervasive that hits several pleasure buttons at once. Drink now–2035. - Anne Krebiehl MW"

Leindl Riesling Heiligenstein 2013

Review:

"Scents of buddleia, gentian, thyme and lavender immediately hint at the site in which this grew, and there is corresponding inner-mouth perfume to delightfully complement luscious apple and white peach on the satiny, palpably extract-rich palate, as do also a glowing piquancy of pits and pips and Veltliner-like savor of blond tobacco. The buoyant and profoundly protracted finish here leaves behind a soothing and intriguing carpet of flavors while not forgetting its first duty to refresh. - David Schildknecht"

Leindl Gruner Veltliner Seeberg Kamptal 2017

Leindl Gruner Veltliner Seeberg Kamptal is made form 100 percent Gruner Veltiner. Medium yellow green. Fine yellow apple fruit, delicate hint of quince and honey, candied orange zest, highly attractive bouquet. Juicy, good complexity, extract core sweet, silky texture, fine acidity bow, fine and salty minerality, great length, secure aging potential, a very finesse Veltliner-style.

Review:

"A rather shy nose reveals nothing but slight notes of citrus. The palate then fills out with subtle but convincing notes of fresh sage, lemon pith, celery salt and yeast. Lemon highlights keep this on the ultrafresh side, but the savory yeastiness provides a lovely balance. - ANNE KREBIEHL MW"

Gessinger Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese Feinherb Alte Reben 56 2019

Gessinger Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese Feinherb Alte Reben 56 is made from 100% Riesling.

The Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese 56° - Alte Reben (off-dry) , as it is referred to on the consumer label, comes from the Zeltinger Sonnenuhr vineyards which are up to 150% slope (56 degree, hence the name of the wine). Here the old un-grafted Riesling vines are particulary small and the grapes develop a lot of aroma.

This wine offers a rather delicate nose with yellow peach, mirabelle, gooseberry, melon, cardamom and licorice. The mouthfeel is soft, but enlivened by bright, fresh acidity providing a linearity. As the wine flows, the flavors open out, but are kept in a linear flow from the acidity that becomes racy, leading to an off-dry finish. This is a classical, piquant halb-trocken style and typical representative of a Riesling. Acidity 7.3 g/l Residual sugar 30 g/l

Perfect match to sweet-and-sour dishes as well as spicy food.

Patton Valley Petillant Naturel Riesling 2019

Patton Valley Petillant Naturel Riesling is made from 100 percent Riesling.

Good friends and good wine make this funny world go ‘round, right? Without those friends letting us buy some of their precious Riesling, we couldn’t make this delicious wine. Even if we did have to beg. A little.
We are using some really great vineyard sites to make this wine, and they are as diverse as they are excellent. Preserving the inherent “riesling-ness” is as important here as making this sparkle, so we’ve been extra careful to be clean, true, and simple with this. Native yeast ferments and minimal handling with fastidious cleanliness make this an absolute natural wonder. A small dosage of organic sugar kicks off the bottle ferment to make it sparkle.
This smells like apples, pears, apricot, and the sea. Not kidding. The palate is fizzy, fun, and fresh with an appley bite and pear - almond lushness. All angles and elbows, the lees and sediment widen the palate with pleasing breadth.
