Dark Cabernet color with beautiful aromas of black cherry, cassis, plus 5-spice, vanilla. Big, ripe and mouthcoating across the palate. The flavors are similar to the aromas with ripe fruit, berry/cherry pie, moderate tannins, and nice length. This wine shows enough structure to be age-worth, yet soft and balanced enough to enjoy upon release. Flavors linger in this tasty, dense wine. Tastes like Oakville. -Heidi Barrett

Gamba Zinfandel Family Ranches 2016

Gamba Zinfandel Family Ranches is made from 100 percent Zinfandel.

Sourced from several sites in the heart of the Russian River Valley, the grapes are vinified in our traditional style; with an extended soaking period. The vineyard lots were fermented on the natural indigenous yeasts, each lot fermented separately to highlight the distinctive characteristics and unique distinct flavor profiles of this world famous growing region. Dark ruby-garnet in color, this classic Russian River Zinfandel shows aromas of boysenberry, raspberry, brown spices, and pepper. Medium to full-bodied, the Family Ranches Zinfandel is balanced with excellent acidity: a powerful, rich and concentrated wine, with flavors of nectarine, cherry and raspberry that build through the lingering finish. This lovely wine can be enjoyed now, and will continue to develop with bottle age over the next several years. 

Paradigm Cabernet Franc 2017


This Cabernet Franc is black cherry red in color with aromas of blueberry jam and white pepper spiciness. With wonderful ripeness we were able to make one of our best Cabernet Francs. The wine is very lush across the palate with a silky softness and sweet impression of ripe blueberry fruit. Tannins are very moderate with a nice light texture in the mid palate. This is an easy drinking Cabernet Franc, rich and complete and very enjoyable.

Paradigm Cabernet Franc is made from 76% Cabernet Franc,  13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot 

Alain Jaume Rasteau Les Valats 2016

Alain Jaume Rasteau Les Valats is made from 90% Grenache, 10% Syrah, planted on clay and stones based soil.

40 Hectoliters / Hectare

Deep red garnet color. Aromas of fresh red berries. On the palate, the richness of the fruit and tannins harmonizes with the roundness of the wine.

The finish is long, with spicy touches and minerals notes. Complete and authentic.

Argot Mosaic Pinot Noir 2016

Argot Mosaic Pinot Noir is made from 100 percent Pinot Noir.

Sourced from both high-elevation and valley floor vineyards, located in the cool-climate AVAs of Sonoma Mountain, Bennett Valley and Petaluma Gap. A drama-free growing season allowed for a leisurely harvest of perfectly ripe, healthy fruit. Low-stress, clean ferments, led to an exceptionally pure Pinot Noir, laden with fruit, earth and spice.

"Nice ripe Oakville Zinfandel with ruby red color and classic varietal aromas of raspberry with a touch of black pepper. On the spicy side with lively flavors of bright pure Zinfandel character. This is a hearty red as Zin should be, but, raw silky balance and lengthy finish give it more finesse than most wines of this varietal. Easy to drink and yummy with complimentary oak tones for the fruitiness. A delightful Zinfandel.

Winery: Paradigm Winery

The Paradigm Winery Estate
Paradigm Winery is located in the Oakville District of Napa Valley just west of Highway 29 and south of the Oakville Grade. The winery is owned and managed by Ren and Marilyn Harris, winegrowers with extraordinarily deep roots in Napa Valley. Marilyn is a third generation grower in Napa Valley and Ren has been farming here since the 1960’s.
They purchased Paradigm in 1976 and began producing wine with the 1991 vintage.
They farm sustainably.
Immediate neighbors of Paradigm Winery are Harlan, Martha’s Vineyard, Dominus, an Opus Vineyard, and a Quintessa Vineyard.

They take 1/3 of their grapes and the rest are sold to Nickel & Nickel, Duckhorn, and Groth.
The annual production is limited to 5,000 cases. 
Heidi Peterson Barrett has been making our wine since the first vintage in 1991. Heidi's philosophy in making wines for Paradigm is simple: she feels that she is working with an extraordinary vineyard site that has been farmed impeccably for years. She lets the fruit from this vineyard express its quality and unique terroir with minimal intervention.
The wines are made in a classic style to go with food. The Cabernet Sauvignon barrel aged for 20 months in French oak (only about a third of that is new oak) and for 20 more months in bottle before release. The Merlot ages for 20 months in French Oak (third new) and 14 more months in bottle before release.

The
Paradigm Winery Vineyard
In 1976, it was planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Chenin Blanc and White Reisling, all commonly grown in Napa Valley. But the Harrises quickly confirmed that the vineyard's soil and microclimate were perfectly tuned for growing the red Bordeaux varietals that inspired their passion for wine. The vineyard is now planted to four blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon totaling 32 acres, three blocks of Merlot totaling 18 acres, 2 acres of Cabernet Franc and one acre of Zinfandel.
