This white Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Vinarium® is a veritable ode to innovation, unprecedented in the history of French wine! It is the result of a unique aging method: small barrels were immersed in the Vinarium®, a truncated wooden vat, completely sheltered from oxygen.
This wine was aged under pressure in immersion for thirty months.

Experimentation, innovation, minimalist intervention and small batch winemaking has resulted in The Menzies’ reputation as a wine of longevity, elegance and structure.

Deep crimson with a plum hue. Aromas of fresh blackcurrants, mulberry, ozone, violets and exotic spices. Take a sip and you will feel the poise and tension for which great Cabernet is renowned. A wine of great complexity with flavors of blackcurrant jubes, bitter chocolate and mulberries, wrapped in divine tannins and a lovely sweet, dark fruit finish. With decanting in its youth it is enjoyable as an elegant full-bodied red wine.

Wonderful with a chargrilled rib eye on the bone or porcini mushroom, thyme and quinoa risotto.

Prune plums and blackcurrants. Violets, lavender leaf and black cherry. Olive tapenade, rosemary and crushed black peppercorn. The wine is held together by a fine mesh of grape and subtle oak tannins, intertwined with pure Coonawarra cabernet fruit. It’s chiselled in its dimension, and you might miss it, as it has such great drinking pleasure. Fruit purity, lovingly handled equals total seduction.

Ziata Meteor Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100 percent Cabernet Sauvignon. 

Bold and intense, this Cabernet Sauvignon from the Meteor Vineyard in Coombsville is full-bodied and berry-driven, with rich spice undertones and a firm structure.

After 20 years of marketing Napa Valley and its wines, Karen Cakebread launched her own project in 2008 with two major goals in mind: to create beautifully structured wines that reflect the vineyards from which they come, and to be involved in every aspect of making the wines.Karen started ZIATA, named in honor of her mother, Mary Annunziata, in 2008 with three varietals: Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, which she chose for their food-friendly qualities. She hired Anne Vawter, a protégée of Heidi Barrett, as winemaker and sourced grapes from sustainable sources, working closely with the grape growers through the growing season, knowing that efforts made in the vineyard would create better wine than those manipulated in the cellar. Jennifer Williams : I find winemaking to be both an art and a trade—you learn by doing and working the vineyards, ensuring the fruit is the best it can be long before it’s picked is at least half the work of the winemaker.

Accornero Brigantino Malvasia di Casorzo is made from 100% Malvasia.

Malvasia is a pleasant, sweet wine, low in alcohol content, that can be enjoyed at any time of day. Made exclusively from grapes grown in the hilltop vineyards of Casorzo and neighboring , it’s the pride and prestige of the area. It has always been the star wine of all local festivals. A comfort wine for all seasons and reasons, it has an aroma evocative of roses. The rich, aromatic wine is ruby-red, vibrant and slightly frothy. lt can be paired with desserts, fruit salads and sweets, but it can also be enjoyed as an aperitif or as a drink for any party occasion.

Camus Graves Blanc is made from 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Semillon.

A beautiful, brilliant color, this wine offers a great aromatic balance with complex and mineral notes, Offering white fruit (peach and pear), citrus (grapefruit and lemon), and a toasty finish with a delicate oak presence. The mouthfeel is rich and complex with a great minerality, freshness, structure, and a good length to the finish.

Pairs with poultry, fish, and shellfish.

Chateau Camus Graves Rouge is made from  50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon

A dark purple color, this wine exhibits some delicate oak aromas, well-integrated with notes of red fruits and spices. The mouthfeel is fresh and fruity, with soft and elegant tannins. The wine is ready to drink but can also be aged for a few years to develop some secondary aromas with truffles and mushroom components

Pairs with red meat, poultry, and cheese.

Cap Cette Picpoul de Pinet is made from 100 percent Picpoul de Pinet

A very popular, traditional local variety planted on sun-drenched hillsides called "costières" (coastal region) in the Mediterranean garrigue, near the Etang de Thau - a coastal lagoon situated between the port of Sète and Marseillan.

The color is a superb pale yellow with bright hues. The nose is elegant, with aromas of fresh fruit and citrus fruit especially grapefruit. Well-balanced with typical focusing and zesty acidity. A pure expression of the grape varietal, the wine shows how good Picpoul can be when grown on its favorite terroir.

It will complement a vast array of dishes such as Asian cuisine, sushi, spicy fare and all sorts of seafood and grilled fish. Enjoy!

Daydreamer Red Blend is 60% Pinotage, 20% Shiraz and 20% Grenache.

Bright red and black berry fruit with pink pepper and a hint of violets on a silky palate with fine tannins, that offer weight and length on a fresh, juicy finish.

The wine is 100% unoaked.

Finca las Divas Cabernet Franc Reserve Gualtallary is 100% Cabernet Franc.

Named in honor of different divas because of the detailed attention to each varietal and plot, consequence of the terroir, origin of the Andes slopes.

Flanagan Beauty of Three Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot.

Gimenez Mendez Alta Reserva Tannat is made from 100 percent Tannat. 

The wine is 100% Tannat, intense, smooth yet powerful and elegant with ripe red fruits on the nose, perfect acidity and balanced tannins in the mouth. An easy drinking and food-friendly wine. Tannat is considered as one of the “healthiest” red wine grapes, thanks to much higher levels of antioxidants. Enjoy this wine - a unique style from the South Atlantic.

Hand harvest and hand selection, destemming and crushing . Pre fermentation maceration at low temperature during 6 days. Delicate and slow fermentation with selected yeast between 18 to 25 C during 12 to 15 days. Post maceration during 8 days. American and French oak aging during 9 months. Finally a blend is produced with wines of the same variety obtained from different plots to achieve the GIMENEZ MENDEZ Alta Reserva profile.

Pairs well with roasted red meats (parrilla-asado), pastas and well-seasoned cheeses. Ideal with lamb. Also very enjoyable with desserts and chocolate.

This wine consists of 100% Picpoul (or Piquepoul) - a very popular, traditional local variety planted on sun-drenched hillsides called "costières" (coastal region) in the Mediterranean garrigue, near the Etang de Thau - a coastal lagoon situated between the port of Sète and Marseillan. The vines are 20-25 years old.

The garrigue is the name given to open scrubland made up of low-growing, dwarf bushy shrubs including holm oak, juniper, broom and wild herbs such as rosemary, thyme and sage.

The color is a superb pale yellow with bright hues. The nose is elegant, with aromas of fresh fruit and citrus fruit especially grapefruit. Well-balanced with typical focusing and zesty acidity. A pure expression of the grape varietal, the wine shows how good Picpoul can be when grown on its favorite terroir. Our best value, this wine impresses novices and hardened geeks equally.

Kasteelberg Pinotage is made from 100 percent Pinotage.

The Kasteelberg range of wines, celebrates the discovery of Riebeek and the Kasteelberg mountains in 1661. Kasteelberg stands sentinal over the fertile valley below. From the slopes of the mountians, hand-selected grapes are expertly crafted with care to produce rare and expressive wines. The Kasteelberg range truly is the pinnacle of our Winemakers'art.

Harvested from an exceptional vineyard in the heart of the Swartland, the Kasteelberg Pinotage is characterised as a well-structured wine, offering layers of flavours and aromas. Seductive rich plum flavors with notes of captivating dark chocolate follows through in a smooth and lingering palate of intense flavors integrated with the freshness of ripened cherries.

Grapes used for this wine are coming from vines that are 10 years old in average. It is also sustainable farming used for this plot.

The grapes were cold-soaked for 3 days at 10°C to extract as much color as possible before fermentation. After cold-soaking, the temperature is increased to around 18°C and yeast is added to start fermentation. Regular pump-overs are done to enhance skin contact which improves the flavor and color profiles. Fermentation temperature between 22 - 26°C. Fermented dry on skins, pressed. After malolactic fermentation, wine is transferred to barrels. Often referred to as Shiraz Country, the Riebeek Valley is renowned for exceptional Shiraz wines.
The Kasteelberg Shiraz is a lively rich wine, full bodied with a subdued smokiness on the nose and a pallet of ripe fruit and interesting spice.
Well-balanced and smooth, the aftertaste lingers with the exciting flavors of Christmas pudding.

Serve at room temperature. The perfect companion to barbequed lamb, fillet medallions and game. Lovely with Springbok stuffed with bacon, garlic and rosemary and a great match to a cheese and preserve platter.

"I'd expect to prefer the 2017 Shiraz to the 2018 bottling, but it's actually the reverse. Maybe Alecia Boshoff has just got more experience with the fruit from this Kasteelberg site. Kinsella Estates Spencer Zinfandel is made from 100 percent Zinfandel. 

A complex amalgamation of tart blueberries, baked plums, warm earth, fresh black cherries, anise, pie crust, brown sugar and a slight note of sweet confectionary candy. On the palate, the wine is plush with great depth and an expansive roundness that seems to push outward with power. The complex flavor mirrors the nose, with a savory/spicy finish and a slightly sticky/resinous grip of the tannins.

Lady Hill Pinot Gris Willamette Valley is made from 100% Pinot Gris.

An aromatic procession of passionfruit and Meyer lemon embraces the delicate floral side of honeysuckle and white flowers. Bright flavors of citrus rind and white peach are highlighted with a crisp minerality. The mouthfeel indicates almost no malolactic conversion, showcasing the crisp refreshing acidity of Granny Smith apples.

Finn Hill Vineyard and Bellevue Cross sit on opposite sides of the Yamhill-Carlton and McMinnville AVAs, but offer a very similar profile of bright citrus and a grassy herbaceousness. Delicately pressed into a stainless steel tank, the juice was inoculated with a commercial yeast bred to enhance fruity and floral aromatic esters. 2 neutral French oak barrels from Bellevue Cross were blended into the remaining stainless portion to balance any tight acidity the wine was showing.

Pair with sushi, goat cheese, and every salad imaginable from a classic Greek horiatiki to its grainy cousin tabbouleh.
