On behalf of my family and our incredible team, welcome to Trump Winery, the largest winery on the East Coast and one of the most spectacular properties anywhere in the world. Throughout my career in real estate, I have had the opportunity to work on many iconic projects, the tallest skyscrapers in the world such as Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, world-class resorts including Trump National Doral in Miami, and legendary properties like Trump Turnberry and so many more.
Throughout this journey, I can honestly say that Trump Winery, from the moment of acquisition has been one of the most exciting. Stepping into the world of winemaking has been unbelievably rewarding and with the passion and drive of our amazing team led by Kerry Woolard, our General Manager and master winemaker, Jonathan Wheeler we are changing the way that the world views Virginia wines. Each year our wines continue to receive tremendous accolades competing and winning against vineyards that have been in business for decades. K Vitners The Hidden Syrah is made from 100 percent Syrah.
It is not a secret the magnitude this wine can reach. In this vintage, femininity reigns supreme. Perfume, flowers, cassis. All anchored to sense of place with stone, ancient soil and chanterelles that make this wine a wine of the earth.
Review:
Kirsch, ripe black cherries, roasted herbs, violets, and orange blossom notes all emerge from the 2018 The Hidden Syrah Northridge Vineyard, which is all Syrah brought up in neutral oak. Rich, full-bodied, and beautifully polished, it packs loads of fruit yet stays light on its feet, with no sensation of heaviness. As with all of these Syrahs from Smith, it's going to benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age.

Busi Chianti Rufina (Half Bottle) is made from 100% Sangiovese.
Fresh, fruity, with classic tart cherry.
Appearance: ruby-red in color.
Aroma: clean, floral notes.
Flavor: well structured and harmonic on the palate; easy drinking with a soft and lingering finish. Ageing potential: 10/15 years.
Production area: amidst the hills of Pelago in the Chianti Rufina D.O.C.G. area, with a soil composition of marly, calcareous clay as typically found in the Arno valley east of Florence.
Aspect: south-facing.
Altitude: 200/350 m above sea level.
Cultivation method: spurred cordon.
Harvest period: from the 20th of September until the middle of October.
Vinification: the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (26/28°C) for 10 days before racking and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. After fermentation the wine is put into wooden barrels.
Fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperatures for 7 to 8 days, with an additional 3 to 4 days on the skins. The wine is then racked and goes through malolactic. It is then racked again and stays another 7 months in stainless steel.
Adapts well to both light and more substantial dishes.
