Dog Bone is a serious wine with a fun label!
We wanted to make a great wine at a fair price and help dogs across the country. 10% of all profits will go to Humane Societies in places we sell Dog Bone. Sales of this wine are also helping North Coast Grape farmers by finding a home for their excess grapes.
The nose has classic Cabernet notes of Graphite, Blackberry Blossom, and Black Olive Tapenade. The palate has loads of tannin structure, Blackberry, and Almond Wood. The wine is very structured and will age beautifully. It drinks like a young Pauillac from a classic vintage like 2005 or 2009. This is a balanced wine with great purity.
We make our Cabernets with structure and balance. We source from hillside sites that are cooler and allow us to make wines with beautiful fruit and good acidity.

Product Description
Vitanza Quadrimendo is a blend of 50% Sangiovese Grosso, and 50% Merlot. Total aging time was 12 months in French oak, and 12 months bottle refinement. It is flavorful and complex with a good backbone of acid and tannin.
Deep red ruby color. Intense aromas with characteristic peppery notes. Dry, tannic and powerful but with a smooth body.
"Very attractive blackberry and black cherry aromas follow through to a medium body, with soft tannins and a fruity, lightly jammy finish. Sangiovese and Merlot. Drink now through 2012."

The Tenuta Vitanza Estate
The story of Tenuta Vitanza begins in 1994, when Rosalba Vitanza and her soon-to-be husband, Guido Andretta, spent a romantic weekend in Montalcino.
Rosalba has a PhD in Philosophy, and was teaching at the University of Rome, La Sapienza branch. Guido Anderetta was working as an aerospace engineer, running his own consulting business based in the United Kingdom and the U.S.A.
In 1994, they united their efforts behind the purchase of Podere Rensione, a country home with two acres of vineyards. Their first vintage was 1995 and the couple received 93 points from the Wine Spectator. Today, they own 80 acres of vines (not all in production year), and have a long-term goal of 15,000 cases of production. Since 2002, the couple has been building a modern, gravity flow winery, computer controlled, and wi-fi connected, in the town of Torrenieri. The winery has 13 large stainless steel tanks, each signifying a specific vineyard area. Also, the winery has been designed with total traceability, meaning that each bottle is numbered. Valminor Albarino Rias Baixas is made from 100 percent Albarino.
Albariño is a Portuguese grape, native to the Miño River region, which separates Galicia & the Rias Baixas DO from Portugal. Albariño has a characteristic citrus aroma & high acidity.
Valminor Albarino presents a yellow straw color. On the nose, the wine shows a wide fruity range of aromas, with notes of fresh grapefruit, apricot and melon. In the mouth, Valminor combines fruity flavors and freshness with a rounded acidity, resulting in a balanced wine that boasts an opulent taste and slight spritziness.

Gaja Barolo Conteisa is made from 100 percent Nebbiolo.
Piedmontese for "quarrel," this wine was named for the historic dispute between the communes of La Morra and Barolo for possession of the Cerequio land. This garnet-colored wine features expressive floral notes and an aroma of red berries, plum, licorice and spice. The sumptuous texture and refined character offer perfectly integrated tannins and an elegant finish.
