The 2021 Cotes du Rhone Blanc Hominis Fides is a fine example from six-year-old vines, boasting gentle wood-spice accents to white-peach fruit and a touch of honeyed richness. It's medium to full-bodied, plump and rounded in the mouth, then finishes long and mouthwatering, with echoes of lime zest.

Traditional blend of "Grand Vin Blanc de Bordeaux", a beautiful wine vinified and matured in barrels. Fine wine, elegant and well-balanced; dominated by Sauvignon (fruitiness), with vanilla notes coming from the oak aging. This wine has beautiful structure and very long-lasting aromas and flavors, providing great aging potential.

Here's a terrific value from coastal Tuscany. The Belguardo Mazzei 2019 Maremma Toscana Rosso Riserva Tenuta Belguardo is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc with 70% of the wine aged in new French oak for 18 months. It finishes in cement vats before going into bottle. The most remarkable part of this 28,500-bottle release is the very reasonable 13.5% alcohol content. The bouquet is wide in scope with dark fruit, spice and toasted oak that feels well-integrated and elegant. Everything hits the right chord, and this wine has only recently been transitioned over to Riserva status.
