Filippino Elio Barbaresco San Cristoforo Riserva 10 Anni is made from 100% Nebbiolo.
This Riserva 100% Nebbiolo is produced on the hillsides of the San Cristoforo vineyard in Neive. A beautiful wine, full of fruity aromas, violet and raspberries, along with spicy hints of cinnamon, tobacco and vanilla. Full-bodied and elegant with intense flavors.
The best grapes are delicately pressed and the stalks are removed. The must ferments in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 26°C with a maceration of 25 days. After racking, the new wine is put into 15-25 hl Slavonian oak casks for long months. Next, it is bottled and left to age for at least 7 years. The tenth year the wine is ready for the market.

The Sonoma Coast is the largest appellation in Sonoma County, strongly influenced by its proximity to the ocean and heavy rainfall—producing more than twice the annual amount of its inland neighbors.
Our Sonoma Coast vineyards span the northern true coastal zone and the southern edge of the appellation. This distinctive blend is made from 11 different clones, fermented in predominantly stainless steel, and aged for 16 months in 38% new oak. The resulting wine has an energetic acidity with cascading layers of black cherry and elderberry, followed by a lasting finish.
Fact of Note: This Sonoma Coast blend was the longest to ferment in stainless steel from our Appellation Series.
La Jota Howell Mountain Cabernet Franc is made from 100% Cabernet Franc.
The 2019 Cabernet Franc opens with aromas of cassis and graphite when poured in the glass. The firm tannins set the stage on the palate melded with rich flavors of boysenberry and pain de grille with a silky mouthfeel and lingering finish.
Review:
Savory in black pepper, smoked meat and cigar box, this wine is high-toned aromatically, with lovely hints of violet and dried herb, sage and bay leaf. Mountain-sturdy tannins give it structure, power and room to age, with lasting acidity to keep it fresh. Enjoy best from 2029–2039

Louis Moreau Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos Clos Des Hospices is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
Grand Cru Clos des Hospices is located in Grand Cru Les Clos and produces outstanding wines, opulent and generous.
Vinification Methods: Grand Cru Clos des Hospices dans Les Clos parcel is handpicked, like all our 1ers Crus and Grands Crus. We generally start picking in Grands Crus parcels first because the grapes ripen earlier thanks to their ideal exposure. We vinified Grand Cru Clos des Hospices dans Les Clos in stainless steel tanks for both alcoholic fermentation, activated with natural yeast for 15-18 days at low temperature (18°C) and malolactic fermentation, thanks to natural bacteria at 20°C for a few months.
Aging Methods: From vintage 2013, Louis decided that our monopole Grand Cru Clos des Hospices dans Les Clos will age only in tank, on fine lees, with minimum intervention, to let it express all its minerality and purity. Just before bottling, the cuvee will go through a light filtration and bottling. Generally, the bottling takes place 18-20 months after harvest.
Tasting notes: Grand Cru Clos des Hospices is located within Les Clos and it produces exceptional wines, displaying great generosity. Its nose is full and expressive, with a nice minerality that we find again in the mouth, confirmed by an elegant length in the finish.

Pago de los Capellanes Doroteo is made from 100% Tempranillo.
It is a wine with an intense cherry red colour, very attractive. It shows clean and powerful aromas of very ripe black and red forest fruits (blackberry, cherry and blackcurrant), with balsamic nuances (black liquorice). Spicy notes (clove and cinnamon) provided by the French oak wood of extra-fine grain . A vibrant and very balanced mouth. It is fresh, silky, long, intense, tasty, with lively. With highly polished tannins and a sensation of depth. Like a pleasant end to a long journey that fills the senses.
It is a very versatile wine, that pairs with all types of meat, fish and even rice.

Last year we welcomed our first Ribera del Duero to the top 50 … and it was white. This year sweeps us back to the original inspiration for the post-1980 explosion in plantings on Spain’s Duero: deep, dark Tempranillo-based red grown at altitude, and packed with an energy and force which clearly contrasts with the softer, more reposeful pleasures of classical Rioja. This wine is an opaque black-red in the glass, with aromas in which its 27 months in oak can be discerned. For all that, it’s the fruit – sombre, driving, insistent – that’s on the front foot, with just a little tobacco and leather beginning to point the way to bottle-evolution. It’s big in the mouth – but not wide or fat; that altitude brings instead a kind of aerial urgency. The quickening acidity plays as much a structuring role in the wine as does its relatively light, graceful tannins. A long, tenacious finish suggests older-vine fruit."

Roland Champion Champagne Blanc de Blanc Grand Cru 2014 is made from 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay from the chalky soils of Chouilly.
This Champagne is full of elegance and finesse. Very complex nose, with a bouquet of aromas dominated by honey, brioche and notes of dried fruits, hazelnuts and sweets. Perfectly matured.
Manual harvest; then pressing immediately to avoid oxidation & preserve quality. Free run juice only. Aged six years on the lees.
It matches magnificently with foie gras!

Certified organic, head-trained, dry-farmed field blend of vines planted at the winery in the heart of Napa Valley. Red and black fruits, garrigue, and distinctive black pepper nose. Broad and deep on the palate, with further notes of Provencal herbs and earth; though most definitely a classic Napa wine, it has an almost Southern French sensibility.

The 2022 Zinfandel Turley Estate is composed of three generations of plantings that commenced in 1996. Medium to deep ruby in the glass, it opens with pure, deep, characteristic aromas of grilled yellow peaches, red cherry, redcurrant, lavender, leather and angostura bitters, revealing finer detail as it spends time in the glass. The palate is massively rich, full-bodied and powerful, with a brooding density that melds with grainy tannins and mouthwatering acidity. The finish is layered, dramatic and perfumed, with an overarching youthful density that will take a few years in bottle to unwind. This is a lovely effort that combines modern density with a classically framed structure.
