Review:
A blend of equal parts Syrah and Grenache from vines not far from the domaine of Marcoux, the 2017 Côtes du Rhône offers a great nose of currants, kirsch, dried earth, and savory garrigue. Sweetly fruited and balanced, it has plenty of richness as well as a light, deliciously drinkable style." -

Gessinger Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Alte Reben Caldo Infernale made from 100 percent Riesling.
Typical Devonian slate Riesling with fruity elegance and great durability. Big and rich wine with ripe peach and pear on the nose, honeyed, citrus and mineral aromas. Clean and pure, distinctive character. Very long finish.
Review:
"I loved the 2015, and the 2017 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Alte Reben Caldo Infernale is even better, offering a lush, rich, yet still vibrant style as well as gorgeous notes of honeyed nectarines, candied orange, peach, and exotic flowers. It packs plenty of sweetness and is medium to full-bodied, with solid acidity and a kiss of petrol and mineral nuances keeping it lively and fresh."

Maison Patricia Raquin is a negociant based in Savigny-les-Beaunes in the heart of Burgundy. Patricia and her husband, Alain, have been in the business for decades and they have developed some incredible relations with producers all over Burgundy. The selection process is quite similar to what we would do with our own brand Rubus. Most of the wines come from incredible vineyard sites and from growers are associated with outstanding quality. The dogs shown on the labels are Borzois, which means 'fast' in Russian. They are also called Russian Wolfhounds; a breed similar to greyhounds. Patricia and Alain are proud owners of 2 Borzois, who, as depicted on the label, guard their vaulted aging cellar inside their house.
Black cherry color, pours thick, and with rich flavors. Bing cherries and Kirsch on the nose. Flavors like a ripe Châteauneuf du Pape with ample extract, red liquorice, and a persistent finish.
“This wine rates 95-99 points in quality” – Francis J. Kysela V, MS
The wine is aged 60 months in oak barrels, then aged 24 months in tank, and another 12 years in the bottle before release.
Enjoy it with mature cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano and Grana Padano. Goes well with grilled meats, roasts. An excellent sipping wine and a great match with chocolate desserts.

Review:
"The estate’s top wine is the 2016 Lirac Secret de la Grange, a 90-10 blend of Grenache and Syrah that never sees oak. This full-bodied blend is fabulously concentrated and lush, with ripe fruit flavors of raspberries and stone fruits, an intriguing hint of almond paste and a rich, long finish tinged with licorice. It should drink well for up to a decade. - Joe Czerwinski"

Souzão (or Sousão or Vinhão) is a Portuguese wine grape that is used in the production of port wine. While originating in the Minho regions, it is used primarily in Australia, California and South Africa. In Portugal, it is also an authorized planting in the Douro, and Dão-Lafões area (Vinho do Dão). The grape is known for the deep color it produces in a wine as well as its coarse and raisiny taste.
Caiño tinto (also known as Borraçal) is a red Galician wine grape variety that is also grown in Portugal's Vinho Verde wine region where it is known as Borraçal. In Spain, it is a permitted variety in the Denominación de Origens (DOs) of Rías Baixas and Ribeiro where it produces highly perfumed wines with noticeable tartness and high acidity.
Espadeiro is a red Portuguese wine grape planted primarily in the Minho region for making Vinho Verde. It is also grown across the border, in Spain, in Galicia where it is used to make light bodied wines.
