Philippe Milan Pommard AOC is 100% Pinot Noir
This wine has been aged in Oak (25% new Oak)
This is a little more structured and the style goes more toward the
"vin de garde", or wines meant to age. This wine needs some food, or sometime
in the decanter right now. It is well structured and reminds me of a Volnay. As
a matter of fact, the parcel is located right next to Volnay. The finish is
long and still quite juicy with chewy tannins lingering.
Philippe Milan Bourgogne Blanc is made from 100% Chardonnay
The wine is produced from vines planted in the commune of Chassey le Camp at high elevation, which brings freshness to this Chardonnay. Ripe fruit is nicely balanced with delicate notes of oak and a hint of citrus on the finish. Full flavored and complex.
The Mercurey "Les Vaux" from Domaine Philippe Milan is a red wine from the renowned Côte Chalonnaise appellation in Burgundy.
The Côte Chalonnaise, located between the Côte de Beaune and the Mâconnais, benefits from a continental climate punctuated by significant temperature variations, ideal for the ripening of Pinot Noir. The clay-limestone soils characteristic of this region impart structure, minerality, and elegance to the wine. Mercurey is one of the most renowned appellations of the Côte Chalonnaise, boasting a long winemaking history that has contributed to the fame of elegant Burgundy red wines.
The vintage is balanced and marked by a lovely freshness thanks to relatively mild weather, resulting in supple tannins and vibrant fruit.

Cazaux Vacqueyras Rouge Grenat Noble 100% Grenache.
This wine is the result of extraordinary weather conditions. The first cuvée was produced in 1992 when violent storms and floods affected the region (especially Vaison la Romaine). The following days were radiant and accompanied by Mistral winds. We could then continue to harvest or more precisely harvest what remained of a rotten crop - but a noble rotten crop!
Following our first involuntary test of 1992, we wanted to reproduce this wine but we had to wait until 1995 to isolate the parcels that were capable of producing this noble rot. Unfortunately, the "noble" phenomenon does not occur every year despite late harvests (October 15).
The resulting wine is offers aromas of small red berries (cherries, raspberries), liquorice, fig, honey, fruit brandy and plum. It is elegant, supple and smooth on the palate with a firm, generous and suave structure. A beautiful length on spices and cherry.
This Grenache nectar marries will with dishes such as pan-fried foie gras in honey and fig preserve, leg of lamb with preserved fruits accompanied by local cereal "epautre" or other sweet and sour dishes.
Review:
"Not yet bottled, the 2020 Vacqueyras Grenat Noble should also be outstanding. Based mostly on Grenache, but with a small amount of Mourvèdre, it has a Provençal bouquet of red and black fruits, dried garrigue, toasted nuts, and spice. Rich, medium-bodied, and nicely textured, with a great finish, I'd be thrilled to have a bottle on the dinner table. It will keep through 2032."

Ossian Capitel Verdejo is made from 100% Verdejo.
Ossian Capital represents a particular expression of very old Verdejo vines, taking its potential far finesse, elegance and longevity. It is made in selected years with a selection of extraordinary grapes.
Color: Old golden yellow color with greenish reflections.
Aromas: Surprisingly nuanced and profound.
Flavors: Fresh, full and very light.
Review:
This is very old-vine Verdejo – some approaching 200 years – from Nieva, a cool region south of Valladolid in the province of Segovia. Here, the signature sandy soils take centre stage, resulting in a precise and chiselled white wine that shows off the freshness of the area. Typical varietal bitterness (hemp and grapefruit pith) combines with subtle oak to create a mouthwatering and textured white that will certainly develop further over the coming years. Organic.
-Decanter 96 Points
"Smoky and complex, this centenary Verdejo from Nieva balances grapefruit pith and mango with a subtle leesy texture. The oak is understated, allowing Segovia’s hallmark acidity and sandy grip to shine through. Layered, bitter-edged, and mouthwatering, it’s a serious, terroir driven wine with remarkable freshness and a long, mineral finish. 2025-28"
