Saumaize-Michelin Pouilly-Fuisse “Clos sur la Roche” is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
Produced from the oldest parcel of the estate dating back from 1979 and planted on the slopes of the Vergisson Rock, "Clos sur la Roche" benefits from a south sun exposure. This beautiful Chardonnay offers abundant floral and white fruit aromas, toasty and buttery notes and brioche scents. Well-balanced and concentrated on the palate with a rich structure and refreshing notes of zesty lemon and mineral purity that brings a vibrant energy to the finish.
Complex aromas of soft citrus fruits and minerals. Densely packed and fresh, with intense, complex flavors of white fruit as well as a hint of spice. The finish is very firm, long but not dry.
This site is now a Premier Cru!
"From a 1.60-hectare parcel on white limestone soils at 360m altitude on the Roc de Vergisson, the 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé Sur La Roche 1er Cru has a gorgeous bouquet with crushed rock, white tea and wild peach scents all beautifully-defined. The palate is very well balanced with a fine spine of acidity, very cohesive, maybe just a little more malic than the Maréchaude, yet with just as much persistency in the mouth. Superb. - Neal Martin"

Bertrand Bachelet Maranges Blanc 1er Cru La Fussiere is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
The Maranges appellation is the youngest of the Côte de Beaune family, making its debut in May 1989. It spans three villages, namely Dezize-lès-Maranges, Cheilly-les-Maranges and Sampigny-les-Maranges. Several hills and slopes make up this appellation, all south/south-east-facing, at an altitude of between 200 and 400 metres. The Maranges 1ers Crus are spread over seven distinct villages.
'La Fussière' is the main village of the Maranges appellation and is located in the Cheilly and Dezize-les-Maranges areas.
This wine has a pale gold robe, with plenty of sparkle. At first, the nose evokes notes of white flowers, like acacias, then the second nose delivers a flinty, slightly buttery aspect. Plenty of versatility and subtlety on the palate, with floral notes.
A good accompaniment to a cold starter or fish. Try with a slightly sharp hard cheese, such as Cantal or Gouda, to draw out its natural vivacity.
The 2020 Domaine Joseph Voillot Volnay Les Champans Premier Cru is from the domain’s largest premier cru holding, 4.2 acres whose vines date from 1934, 1971, and 1985. Champans is down-slope in the premier cru band, and its wine typically has more fruit and power than other Voillot Volnays.
The 2020 Volnay Les Champans 1er Cru, matured in 20% new oak, has an expressive and quite open, floral bouquet with red cherries, undergrowth, crushed strawberry and a touch of black tea. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity, harmonious and poised with good substance towards the finish. This is very refined and classy.

Bavencoff Meursault Blanc Premier Cru is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
Pale yellow in color, this is very charming with a rich bouquet of white fruits, grilled almonds and buttery aromas. The palate is ample, full-bodied and smooth. The delicate brioche flavors come beautifully before its fresh finish on citrus notes.
Aging: 100% oak barrels – 10 to 12 months
Produced fromp 100% Chardonnay.
Thanks to its clay rich soil, the vineyard produces a rich, opulent and luscious wine that can be enjoyed young. This is a powerful and elegant white Burgundy, expressive, fresh and fruity with intense and strong flavors. Unctuous and well-textured in the mouth with a distinguished acidity.
The array of intense aromas and exceptional balance will allow the wine to go with the most delicate yet intense dishes: rump of veal, crawfish, grilled lobster, risotto with morels.
Bavencoff Pernand Vergelesses Premier Cru Blanc is made from Chardonnay.
The wine offers a white gold or pale yellow color turning into darker gold with age. It boasts aromas of white flowers, (may, acacia) developing into notes of amber, honey and spices. On the palate it is mineral, harmonious and easy to like.
Aged in new oak barrels (Allier).
Sushi, fresh-water fish in white sauce, and for pasta or a seafood risotto.
Domaine Louis Moreau Chablis Vaillons Premier Cru is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
Chablis achieves its highly distinctive mineral character due to its cool northerly climate and its highly calcareous soil. The Domaine Louis Moreau Chablis Vaillons Premier Cru is a generous, fleshy and lively wine that displays a beautiful balance of minerality, fruitiness and elegance.
Chablis, with its steely character and fresh citrus flavor, pairs well with white fish and shellfish and its naturally high acidity can counterbalance cream-based sauces. Unoaked Chablis lends itself well to vegetables, starches, Comté, or fresh goat cheese.
Saumaize Michelin Pouilly Fuisse Marechaude is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
A beautiful Pouilly-Fuisse from "La Marechaude" parcel that Saumaize-Michelin acquired in 2013. Planted on clay and limestone slopes and hand harvested, this Chardonnay offers fresh and elegant notes of white flowers, crisp, citrus and exotic fruits. Powerful and mineral on the palate with a fantastic balance, finesse and freshness. The exceptional terroir brings minerality and juicy flavors of stone fruits, peach and melon supported by subtle toasty notes.
It is now a Premier Cru.
The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé La Maréchaude 1er Cru comes from two parcels, around half a hectare together, one particularly steep, which makes it hard to farm and so everything has to be done manually, backpacks to spray and so on. A little deeper in colour than other cuvées, this has a more concentrated, almost petrolly bouquet that manages to maintain impressive delineation and focus. The palate is beautifully balanced, very complex, a killer spine of acidity with outstanding tension on the finish. Very composed, I had to have a sneaky sip of this nectar. - Neal Martin"

The Domaine Saumaize-Michelin Estate
This family estate is owned by Roger and Christine Saumaize-Michelin and is located in the Village of Vergisson, the best of the five villages for Pouilly-Fuisse. The estate built new cellars in 1991 and uses 10 - 25% new oak per vintage.
"Roger Saumaize, meticulous vineyardist and skilled winemaker, makes Macon whites, including four different Pouilly-Fuisses; dense and rich for the region, they behave more like great Cote de Beaunes." - Anthony Dias Blue's pocket guide to wine 2006
The Domaine Saumaize-Michelin Vineyards

Emilio Rojo Ribeiro Blanc is made from 80% Trajadura, 20% others.
Emilio Rojo is produced on the hillside facing the morning sun of the Avia Valley. The vineyard has been tirelessly worked for over 30 years and through these efforts it shaped an iconic landscape that is defined by its perfect terraces and artisanal viticulture.
Emilio Rojo has been designed to transcend time. A wine made in communion with Nature and attached to the roots of the vines that faithfully express the character of the place. Emilio Rojo is the perfect fusion of the man and the vineyard.
Emilio Rojo is a blend of different local varieties (treixadura, lado, godello, caíño blanco, albariño and torrontés) that resulted in a delicate, but tense and lively wine. A complex nose that opens with time, marked by round, citrus fruit notes and floral nuances. An energetic and elegant feel with great depth that leads to a long, full finish. An honest representation of this unique plot.
"Shimmering yellow. A wild, highly complex bouquet evokes ripe citrus and orchard fruits, succulent herbs, fennel and chamomile, and a smoky mineral element adds urgency and lift. Stains the palate with concentrated Meyer lemon, pear and peach nectar, honey and floral flavors that are supported by an undercurrent of juicy acidity. Deftly combines depth and energy and finishes extremely long and minerally, with resonating orchard fruit and floral notes. - Josh RAYNOLDS"

Our Touraine Sauvignon blanc is crisp and refreshing, with rich, ripe lime and grapefruit aromas. Great elegance with mineral style and despite everything some kind of roundness.
Average age of the vines is 20 years old.
We produce a part of this cuvee with 12 hours skin maceration and another part from directly pressed grapes
Wine was slightly filtered before bottling to ensure wine will remain stable.
Ideal for the Aperitif , any cooked fish such as smoked and grilled salmon but also obviously with a Goat Cheese.
Ilaria Accordini Amarone Classico 70% corvina - corvinone, 30% rondinella - 20 years old vines. This wine is made by Accordini, the owner married and now put her married name on the label.
Full red color, tending to ruby red. Complex aromatic nuances, that range from black cherry to blueberries, chocolate. A sumptuous expression of ripe fruit, that runs through the mouth with invasive persistence, typical for a great Amarone. The finale closes with sinuous tobacco and new leather notes.
Ideal with boiled, roasted and grilled meat.
Zerba Gavi is made from 100% Cortese.
Cryomaceration. The skins remain in contact with the must for 36 hours and a constant temperature of 6 degrees. The must is then racked and is allowed to ferment in temperature controlled stainless steel. No malolactic fermentation.
The wine shows a pale yellow color, a delicate and quite elegant bouquet with a pleasing floral scent mingled with honeydew melon. Round on the palate, a nice body and a good balance between acidity and the ripe fruits. The finish is long, clean and persistent. Chilled, it is a nice aperitif and a perfect companion to pastas, cream sauces, white meats, fish and light fried food
EnRoute Winery Brumaire Chardonnay is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
From the inviting lemon peel and passion fruit perfume to the silky palate filled with notes of tropical guava, white peach blossom, and nectarine, the 2020 EnRoute Brumaire is at once opulent and elegant. Full and generous, with juicy acidity, cool mineral accents – think wet slate and crushed shell – and a lifted vanilla and toffee finish, this is a vintage with presence.

Stimulating with marine or freshwater fish, it also goes well with savory or fatty meat (goose or pork). Enjoyable with seasoned, herbal cheeses of various types and elaborate dishes.
"There’s a wild peppery and herbal freshness to the 2018 Lugana Riserva Molceo that keeps you coming back to the glass. A pretty bouquet of fresh peach, nectarine, kiwi and hints of vanilla bean develops over time. This is weighty and oily at first, yet it’s lifted by cooling acids and minerals, as white orchard fruits and hints of savory spice flesh out across the palate. A salty tension lingers on, along with notes of dried apricot and a twang of tart citrus. - Eric Guido"

Raats MR Mvemve Raats de Compostella is made from 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc, 12% Malbec, 6% Petit Verdot, 2% Merlot
The name de Compostella (meaning “field of stars” or “compilation of stars”) was chosen to reflect the fact that each component is crafted to stand alone as a world class varietal wine. The wine exhibits a deep, dark ruby color. Blackcurrant and black cherry fruit with hints of violets, cedar and cinnamon are revealed on the nose. The palate is rich and complex with mineral, blackberry fruit and dark chocolate on the finish. The five Bordeaux varietals harmoniously convene in this consistent, linear flavor profile that is polished with a well-defined finish.
Cassis, blackberry and boysenberry fruit all mingle seamlessly with spicy, herbal tones of licorice root, Maduro tobacco, lightly charred cedar and wood spice on the nose and mouth of this robust wine. The palate is plush and bold in feel, with spicy, well-structured tannins that provide ample support to the ripe black fruit tones and a lingering grip to the close. It's well balanced and all in equal measure, suggesting a wine that's built for the long haul. Drink 2024–2030. Lauren Buzzeo

The 2016 MV de Compostella contains the highest percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon ever, at 63% and it was bottled the first week in May (see the 2015 vintage for the maturation details). It has a strict, almost broody bouquet of dense, graphite-infused black fruit. The palate is more a mixture of red and black fruit and fine-grained tannin, very harmonious in style; touches of pencil lead appear on the precise, sustained finish. While this lacks the sheer precision of the previous vintage, it is a very worthy follow-up. -- Neal Martin
