Luis XIV Fondillon Oro 50 years NV is made from 100 percent 100% Monastrell (Mourvedre). Only 24 9 liter cases produced.

The wine is produced in the village of Cañada, in the subarea of Alto Vinalopó in the province of Alicante. Made from 100% Monastrell planted on traditional dry land as bush vines, at 550-580 meters above sea leval and enjoying a Mediterranean climate with great marine influence due to the easterly winds.

Fondillon 50 years is mahogany in color with orange tile rim, medium layer and great density. On the nose, it has a very deep aroma of old wood, black tea and carob. In the mouth, it has a sweet entry balanced by a rich high acidity. Its aromas are long, almost eternal and very intense. It tastes like old mahogany, a very old barrel and bygone times.

"The NV Fondillón Luis XIV has the subtitle Edad Superior a 50 años (over 50 years old), and it's a dark mahogany, bottled from a single barrel that has the specific profile of a very old wine greatly concentrated by age, which tends to make it similar to other very old and concentrated wines, be it a Mediterranean rancio or a very old Moscatel. It has notes of bitter chocolate, coconut and iodine, carob beans (algarroba) and some bittersweet sensations. It's dense and concentrated, and the palate is pungent, with very intense flavors and a bitter twist in the finish. This has 16.3% alcohol, 6.45 grams of acidity and 34 grams of sugar, but it comes through as very dry. The wine is long and extraordinary, but it just doesn't have any Fondillón character after decades of concentration by evaporation. The price is ludicrous. "Fondillón is an extraordinary treasure of Alicante, a rare product, made from late harvest, non-botrytised grapes, unfortified, but with a final alcohol of no less than 16%. Intense, aged, but not sweet (deliciously not more than 45g/l). Fab with cheese or dark chocolate. The wines have to be a minimum of 10 years; this release is more than 25 years. Marquis d'Alesme Margaux is made from 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc.

Meyney Saint Estephe is made from 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 13% Petit Verdot.

The vineyards planted on a perfectly drained siliceous gravel soil provide ideal conditions for the maturity of the grapes and result in a very deep black color wine with  spicy notes and a distinguished style.

The 2020 vintage embodies what Bordeaux does best - a great classic vintage, complete, complex, rich and unctuous.

The 2020 Oakville Winery Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits aromas of cherry and raspberry with notes of fresh roses, vanilla, dust, and pencil shaving. The rhythmic structure between the granular tannings and the vibrant acidity allows the sensation of a long, refreshing finish. This Cabernet Sauvignon can be aged for a decade bringing all the earthy components of a classic Napa Cab.

A New York strip steak with butter, mushrooms, and herbs will melt when you pair it with this wine.

Pago de los Capellanes Tinto Joven is made from 100% Tempranillo.

Pale Yellow color with fresh green tones.
Very aromatic, with citrus, tropical fruit, tangerine, lemongrass and lemon thyme. Fruity notes with anise and minerals, typical of the Verdejo grape. Fresh in the mouth, the wine is slightly fizzy, with an excellent balance between acidity and sweetness.

Pearmund Cellars Petit Verdot is made from 100 percent Petit Verdot.

Blackberry aromas with rich plum flavors. Well-rounded tannins and a smooth finish. Earthy, rustic, and warm. Limited production.

Philippe Milan Maranges Rouge is made from 100 percent Pinot Noir. 

This is very Burgundian in style, with fruity, rich and strong flavors. This reminds me of a Marsannay Rouge, Elegant and strong at the same time, with some oak flavors, quite well integrated.

Post & Beam by Far Niente Chardonnay is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.

Vibrant, refreshing and stunningly perfumed, the Post & Beam Chardonnay opens with aromas of fresh melon and wild honeysuckle. The palate is lush and round, with silky layers of melon and baked apple spice framed by soft, toasted oak and lifted acidity.

Subtle oak complexity, rich fruit flavors and a creamy texture add up to an outstanding wine. Aromas of toasted oak and vanilla lead to baked pears, golden apples and a twist of lemon in this nicely balanced, intricate offering.

This pale rosé colored spumante boasts a rich mousse and persistent bubbles. The intense and fruity bouquet of raspberry, wild strawberry, pink grapefruit is intertwined with almond, rose petals and balsamic notes. The palate is fresh, well balanced and harmonious with full flavors of strawberry fruit and a long finish.

Rebuli Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadene Brut Zerogrammi NV  is made from 100% Glera (Known as Prosecco)

Color: Straw yellow with greenish reflections. Compact and durable foam, fine perlage.
Nose: very intense creating the scents of flower, light notes of peach, pear, almond blossom, tarragon and mineral notes.
Taste: dry, smooth and rich in the mouth. Its floral taste recalls acacia flowers. Aromatic and balanced finish

Excellent as an aperitif. It goes well with seafood as well.

Intense ruby red color with purple tints.
On the nose, the wine shows some intense notes of red fruits, especially cherry and slight hints of oak.
In the mouth, it has a good structure, great softness and it is pleasant to drink. Predominant notes of red fruits, with slight spiciness.

Pair with first courses with game, grilled meats, fresh and aged cheeses such as pecorino.

Rinaldi Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco Tasting notes: Frizzante style, with hints of black pepper, cherries and red fruit notes. A frothy, & slightly sweet aperitif…

Vines are planted on limestone soils. Only 63 hectares exist of this very small DOC of Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco. Grape varietal is Malvasia di Schierano.

Pairs well with dessert and Asian food.

Rinaldi Moscato d'Asti Bug Juice is made from 100 percent Moscato. 

Straw-yellow color. The bouquet is delicate and intense with aromas of fruit (apple, peach) and spices (sage). The palate is sweet and smooth with lingering aromatic persistence. A refreshing and pleasant wine, perfect for brunch, picnics or poolside.

The training system used is Guyot with a density of 2500-3000 vines per hectare Manual harvest into crates. Soft pressing. Settling in steel vats to allow natural clearing of musts. Racking, increase in temperature. Temperature and pressure controlled fermentation until bottling.

Dessert, ideal with hazelnut cake. Original with "strong" cheese such as Robiola of Roccaverano and Gorgonzola.

Sourced from ten-year-old vines in Paraje Altamira.

Rudi Pichler is among the elite growers of the Wachau producing wines of precision, power, and longevity. Grüner Veltliner and Riesling make up 95% of the production with the remaining 5% shared between Weißburgunder and Roter Veltliner. Rudi Pichler belongs to the prestigious Vinea Wachau and vinifies under the strict parameters of their codex.

Yields are kept low between 30 and 35 hectoliters per hectare with botrytis carefully removed by hand.  Grapes are crushed by foot and receive between three and 36 hours of maceration on the skins. Vinification is entirely in stainless-steel tanks and malolactic fermentation is avoided.

TASTING NOTES: This fresh, subtle Honjozo has a lovely nose of cantaloupe, leek, fresh clay and pear. With just a hint of sweetness, the palate is light bodied with alluring flavors of burnt caramel, chalk and marsh-mallow and a classic Honjozo clean, dry finish.
The fanciful name "Otoko no Yujyo", represents a feeling for which the sake was made, to honor brotherly love, between comrades.
