In Monteagrelo we bring the soul of each varietal, its intimate relationship with its place of origin and its deeproots in that place. The result is an incredibly intense, yet delicately harmonious wine that excites, seduces and captures.


Monteagrelo Chardonnay  is a wine of greenish-yellow color with good intensity and luminous highlights. It gives aromas typical to the variety, combined with a touch of the oak in which it was aged. On the palate it is fresh and floral, with good body and a long, elegant finish.

Burgo Viejo Rioja Blanco Organic 2017

Burgo Viejo Rioja Blanco Organic  is made from 60% Viura and 40% Trempranillo Blanco

No Oak. Aged 3 months on the lees with frequent batonnage

Pale yellow color with green tones.
Fresh and intense flavors of white fruits, peach, apple and some citrus notes.

Vineyards are located in Alfaro.

Aged for 16 months in 30% new French oak, 70% neutral French oak

Farmed by one of California’s most respected and longest operating grape-growing families, the Roberts Road Vineyard is located in the Petaluma Gap. Sitting on well draining gravel soils, coastal winds allow for a long, slow and even growing season. Planted in 1998 these Dijon 95 grapes provide minerality and vibrancy to a full-bodied wine with impressive purity of flavor and mouth-feel. Capitain Gagnerot Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is made from 100 percent Chardonnay

SOILS

Soil from the Later Bathonian era, white marl and limestone.


VINIFICATION / MATURING

Harvested by hand, sorted and destemed.

After a light press of around 4 hours, alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels at around 20°C.

Maturation in oak barrels (10% new barrels) for 6 to 8 months.

Cazaux Vacqueyras Blanc Vieilles Vignes 2017

Cazaux Vacqueyras Blanc Vieilles Vignes 50% Clairette, 30% Roussanne and 20% Viognier


The wine has a beautiful golden color.
The aromas are rich and exotic with mango, almonds, toast, lemon, pineapple white flowers and papaye. These aromas will develop to honey, butter and pear after ageing for a few years.
The finish is long, citrusy and toasty.

Terroir: Slopes of sandy soil or grey limestone.
Yield: 25 -30 hl/ha
Age of the vines: 70 years old minimum. The oldest are around 90 years old.
The grapes are pressed pneumatically after a few hours contact with the skins.The must is kept at 20°c during the alcoholic fermentation to optimise the aromas and respect the wine’s suppleness.
Barrel fermented an aged in 228-liter French Oak barrel for 12 months with regular stirrings of the lees.
MaloLactic Fermentation also in barrel.


Enjoy this wine with rich dish, river fish or poultry cooking in creamy sauce. Delicious with a mushroom risotto.

Chakana Estate Torrontes 2018

The wine shows the typical aromas of Torrontes (white flowers, lychee, peach) balanced be a refreshing acidity. Mineral texture due do the rocky soil of the vineyard. Elegant, dry and clean finish.

Torrontes grapes are sourced from Gualtallari, an outstanding terroir in the Uco Valley, located at more than 4000ft of altitude. The aim of this wine is combining the aromatic richness of the Torrontes with the mineral, chalky structure typical of this area of Mendoza.
It is grown on Sandy loam over calcium carbonate coated gravels. 
Fermentation with Indigenous yeast. 
Wine went through Malolactic fermentation. 
aged for 6 months in French Oak barrels.

Pairs with  crab cakes and seafood pasta.


Chapelle de Blagny Meursault Blagny Premier Cru 2016

This appellation springs from 4 plots, all classified premier cru: La Jeunelotte, La Pièce-sous-le-bois, Sous-le-dos-d’âne and Sous-Blagny : the Meursault-Blagny wine from our domain originates from 3 of these plots (or climats), Sous-le-dos-d’âne, La Pièce-sous-le-bois and Sous-Blagny.

This wine is distinguished for its fine, mineral sensation giving length in the mouth : in the first years, the aroma is rich and ranges from citrus fruit to white blossom moving towards honey, buttered toast and hazelnut.

After 2 or 3 years in the cellar it may be served before dinner with cubes of “jambon persillé” (pressed ham ) or “Comté” cheese; a little older it will be an ideal match for fish quenelles and with slightly more maturity, delicious with veal in cream sauce.

In a good cellar, Meursault-Blagny wine may be laid for 8/10 years.

Charles Thomas Cotes du Rhone Blanc 70% Grenache Blanc, 15% Roussanne, 10% Marsanne, 5% Viognier

H Bright yellow in color. The nose has a nice aromatic expression with white peach, apricot, candied lemon and lime notes. The palate is tasty and has a great generosity, a nice sweep on the attack and a crispy and acidulous finish.

Traditional vinification. The grapes are pressed upon their arrival in the winery. Low temperature fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel. Each grape variety is vinified separately and then assembled before ageing.  

Excellent wine for an aperitif. It pairs perfectly with grilled fish, platters of seafood and shellfish. It also goes well with simple dishes: pizzas, salads, tabbouleh or steamed vegetables. Cheeses: Goat cheese, Blue cheese and hard cheese such Comté.

Light and clear in color. Sharp nose (lemon, green apple), fresh and mineral (flint). There is freshness in the mouth with good acidity, aromas of lime and the typical minerality on the finish, which Chablis is renowned for!

Exclusively white wine production. Average age of vines: 20 years. The vines are worked using integrated viticulture. Plantations: 10,000 feet / hectare - Yield: 60 hectoliters / hectare.

Chartron et Trebuchet Chablis 1er Cru Montmains has subtle lemony and floral notes that open out onto more mineral nuances. The attack is frank and precise, with a remarkable finish. Aromas of chalk, jasmine and lemon confit embellish the mouth.

Average age of the vines is 20 years old
Wine was slightly filtered before bottling.

Chartron & Trebuchet Macon-Villages Chardonnay is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.

White gold in color with silver highlights. The notes of chalk and limestone make it a very tense and mineral wine. The palate is complex with aromas of lemon and orange blossom. The freshness is ensured by a good acidity that pleasantly wakes up the taste buds.

Ideal as an aperitif, but also with poultry and veal in creamy sauce, creamy risotto with meat or fish, grilled fish, cold antipasti and ratatouille, mixed salads, sushi. Perfect with Goat cheese.

In the heart of the Côte de Beaune, between 200 and 300 meters above sea level and facing East / Southeast, the vineyards surround the picturesque village of Meursault.

The vineyards find their excellence on calcareous marl.

VINEYARD:
It is Chardonnay which is best suited to the land of the Côte de Beaune. This excellent land was highlighted by the Cistercian monks from the year 1098.

VINIFICATION:

AGEING:
The wine is aged for 16 months in oak barrels with regular stirring to gain depth and complexity.

Blends elegantly with meat and fish with a noble and beautiful texture (veal or chicken in white sauce, roasted sea bass, but also foie gras) or grilled seafood and sauce (shrimp, lobster ...). Delicious as an aperitif and with cheeses with a light taste (Camembert, Brie, Blue cheese, Goat cheese, Gruyere...).

Chavy-Chouet Saint-Aubin Premier Cru Les Murgers des Dents de Chien is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.

The wine is produced from 30 year-old vines overlooking the grand crus of Puligny-Montrachet. The vines grow on limestone soils covered with white pebble stones.
The altitude and the poor soil result in a fine, subtle wine with bright acidity. It is a feminine wine that evolves slowly with floral and spicy notes before taking on greater density and revealing its power.

Ageing in oak barrels for 12 months (20% new).100% Chardonnay of 30 years of age.
The vineyard measures 0.17 hectare with a plenting density of 10,000 vines per hectare.
