Named in honor of different divas because of the detailed attention to each varietal and plot, consequence of the terroir, origin of the Andes slopes.
Deep violet red in color, its aromas are intense and concentrated, with hints of black and red fruits with smoky touches obtained during its oak aging.
In the mouth it is persistent, full of juicy yet firm tannins and balanced acidity. It is frank and expressive, modern and of great personality.
Pairs with red meat, pasta with tomato sauce and hard cheeses.

Maipe Malbec Reserve is made from 100 percent Malbec.
Maipe was the Lord of the Winds for the ancient Andean Indians. He is still called upon to clear the skies after heavy rain, or to temper the summer heat.
The nose reveals dried plum and dark fruits, exotic spices, with hints of violet and chocolate. Round and fleshy, with enticing crushed plum and boysenberry fruit enlivened by a liquorice snap note. Fresh acidity lies buried on the medium-weight, juicy finish.
The grapes are carefully chosen and fermented in small lots to preserve the vineyard identity. Alcoholic fermentation for 12 days with indigenous and selected yeasts, at temperatures of 26 and 30°C, combining, remontage, pigage and delestage in order to obtain the best quality of tannins and structure.

Review:
There's a texture, weight and self-confidence about the Imperial Stag reds that I find really appealing. Stylishly oaked in 85% new barrels, it combines aromas of violet, liquorice and coffee bean with a palate of cassis, blackberry and fresh green herbs, sculpted tannins and a refreshing, tapering finish. 2025-32

Winery: Imperial Stag Wines
Imperial Stag Wines was founded in 2010, when two wine passionate American hunters decided to buy a vineyard at over 2400 ft. in elevation near historic San Rafael, part of the world renowned wine region of Mendoza, Argentina. After several years of studying the climate, soil and vines, they determined that the “Dos Cazadores” vineyards would produce high quality red grapes such as Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Bonarda. Under prominent winemaker, Fabricio Orlando, in 2019, they crafted the first of what will be a series of exclusive, single vineyard, high-quality wines in limited editions that express the history, beauty, style and excitement of hunting and the highest examples of the Argentine winemaking tradition.
The winery is named after a magnificent stag taken by Archduke of Austria, Royal Prince of Hungary Istvan Von Hapsburg-Lothringen's great grandfather, who shares the same passion for hunting and nature that drives the creation of these wines, whose intention is to be worthy of being enjoyed as a complement of the game.
The vineyards are located in Goudge, a village about 12km (7.5 miles) from San Rafael.

Jip Jip Rocks Chardonnay 2014 is made from 100 percent unoaked Chardonnay.
Light yellow with a pale straw hue. A classic nose of lemon, fresh stonefruit and melon. The palate is clean and fresh with mineral characters underpinning ripe pineapple and lime flavours. This wine will age beautifully over the next 4-5 years.
Winemaking report: Gentle pressing and free run juices create the base of this wine. Traditionally Jip Jip Rocks Chardonnay is a 2/3 blend fermented and matured in stainless steel and 1/3 fermented in stainless steel, which receives extended lees contact to add texture and complexity to the palate.

DAOU Vineyards Bodyguard Red is made from 65% Petit Verdot, 35% Petite Sirah.
The 2020 Bodyguard is the newest edition to this exceptional collection from winemaker Daniel Daou. Bold and brooding, it displays a vivid, deep purple hue accompanied by an intense nose of chocolate-covered blueberry, black raspberry, Zante currant, pencil lead and damp forest floor. Secondary layers reveal notes of kirsch, fennel, black olive and a hint of cool wintergreen. Based on 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Château Lascombes pulls from 40% of the total production and was aged 18 months mostly in barrels (60% new) with a small portion in foudre. This inky hued beauty boasts a rich, concentrated, full-bodied, well-oaked style as well as pure cassis and darker berry fruits, some graphite, scorched earth, and licorice nuances, terrific overall balance, and a great finish.
