Boeira Tawny 20 Year Port is made from 40% Touriga Nacional, 30% Touriga Francesa and 30% Tinta Roriz.
A Good Complexity of Natural Flavors of Cassis, Blackberries and Caramel.
Fermentation in steel tank and stopped by adding spirit and aged in oak barrels for 20 years. Wine was slightly filtered before bottling.
Boeira 20 Years Port is the perfect companion for a number of foods including foie-gras, pates, dried fruit or desserts like sponge cake or chocolate brownie and salted caramel.
This one-hundred-percent Merlot has really nice, bright red fruit, rose petals, and a richness on the nose. Flavors of plum, mountain strawberry and mocha come together with a balanced mouth feel and a long finish. Though it was a cooler vintage, I feel we have still captured the powerfully elegant style for which we are known.

Plush, ripe and serious, with dusty herbs and spices enlivening the raspberry and plum fruit flavors; more red fruits than black here. Finishes with substantial but ripe well-integrated tannins and slowly building persistence. Not a powerhouse but uncommonly complex and refined for Washington Merlot. An intense and elegant expression from the oxidative ageing process, with some dry fruits characters. The aromas are reminiscent of its ancestor - Fino. Velvety, warm, round and well-structured on the palate with almond flavors. A well-balanced wine.
Wonderful as an aperitif and to accompany soups and consommés. Extremely good where its distinctive taste adds unique character to a wide range of dishes. Try also with marinated meats and selfish as aperitif.

Winemaking Notes The grapes are handpicked in small baskets late August and are gently pressed as whole clusters. After a settling of 24 hours, the juice is inoculated with selected Champagne yeast and ferments in stainless steel tanks at low temperature. Once the fermentation is over, the wine ages on the fine lees until the spring of the following year. The blend is then put together and cold-stabilized prior to bottling. The bottling occurs in the spring when the cellar temperature is conducive to a second fermentation in the bottle. The now sparkling wine will age on the yeast for over 24 months. At disgorging, a small amount of dosage liquor is added in order to balance the natural acidity.

Winemaker Notes
This lush and alluring Cabernet Sauvignon begins with aromas of ripe strawberry, grenadine and Bing cherry that leap from the glass, followed by notes of sarsaparilla, root spices, black licorice cinnamon and star anise. On the palate it is both luxurious and energetic, with plush tannins and ripe red berry flavors balanced by enlivening energy and sophisticated hints of cigar wrapper, granitic minerality and sweet baking spices.
Production
Heavy winter snowfall in 2019 led to well-irrigated soils and a late budbreak. The relatively cool weather continued throughout spring and summer with temperatures in the high 80s to low 90s, and only a few days over 100º F. This allowed for beautiful flavor development balanced by ideal acid retention, producing elegant and age-worthy wines with lovely energy and character, supple tannins and bright, juicy flavors.

I loved the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain, which is loaded with sweet red and black currant fruit as well as some classic Cabernet spice, tobacco, leather, and loamy earth notes. The wine comes from a special vineyard at 950 meters altitude. The cuvee is called MEMORIA to pay tribute to good friends and great time spent together.
Deep cherry color. On the nose, the wine is elegant and well balanced with black fruits, reminiscent of vanilla and leather. Hints of spices, minerals and coffee. On the palate the wine is also well balanced and pleasant. Round and elegant with a long and pleasing aftertaste.

The 2021 My Favorite Neighbor Cabernet Sauvignon fills the glass with a seamless culmination of black cherry, cassis and warm spice. On the palate, you are rewarded with a full body displaying blackberry and plum with underlying notes of tobacco. An additional layer of red fruit and a pop of acid, combined with well- integrated tannins and a beautifully crafted structure, leave nothing to be desired. When the founding fathers of the Napa Valley carved out new sub-AVAs (American Viticultural Areas) in the 1980s, Soda Canyon Ranch was not yet on anyone’s map. The vineyard is neighbored to the northwest and west by the winegrowing districts of Stags Leap District and Oak Knoll District, respectively, which were among the early pioneers of California Cabernet Sauvignon to attain global fame. To the northeast and southeast—and further off the beaten path—were Atlas Peak and Coombsville, thought to be the next frontiers for the emerging wine-producing region.

The winter of 2019 was marked by cold, foggy days in Napa Valley. Well-drained soils of Soda Canyon Ranch and steady, purposeful farming decisions mitigated the rainy and wet conditions as they persisted into spring. After months of ever-shifting weather, the vines were greeted by a consistent, warm and dry summer plus a mild harvest season, resulting in bright and ethereal fruit. Once blended, the 2019 vintage rested in French oak barrels for 16 months.
