Marie Baron Pouilly Fume is made from 100 percent Sauvignon Blanc.
Pouilly-Fumé is one of the Loire Valley's most prestigious white wine appellations, located on the right bank of the Loire River across from Sancerre. The 'Fumé' in the name refers to the smoky, flinty character imparted by the Kimmeridgian clay and silex (flint) soils.
This wine displays a brilliant pale gold color with intense aromas of citrus, white peach, and the signature gunflint smokiness. On the palate, it is elegant and focused with mineral-driven acidity, flavors of green apple and grapefruit, and a long, precise finish.
Pairs beautifully with shellfish, sushi, grilled fish, or fresh goat cheese like Crottin de Chavignol.
Marie Baron is a Loire Valley producer offering wines from some of the region's most celebrated appellations, including Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, Bourgueil, and Coteaux du Giennois. Imported to the United States by Kysela Père et Fils, these wines represent excellent value from classic Loire terroirs.
The white wines — Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, and Coteaux du Giennois Blanc — showcase the purity and precision of Sauvignon Blanc grown on the limestone and flint soils of the central Loire. Crisp, mineral-driven, and aromatic, they deliver the hallmark freshness and elegance that have made this region world-famous for Sauvignon Blanc.
From Bourgueil in the western Loire, Marie Baron produces a Cabernet Franc-based red that captures the appellation's signature combination of bright red fruit, earthy depth, and silky tannins. These are versatile, food-friendly wines that offer genuine terroir expression at accessible prices.
Marie Baron Coteaux du Giennois Blanc is made from 100 percent Sauvignon Blanc.
Coteaux du Giennois is an appellation in the upper Loire Valley, near Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. These hillside vineyards benefit from a continental climate with flint and limestone soils that give the wines their distinctive mineral character.
This wine presents a bright pale yellow color with aromas of citrus, white flowers, and flinty minerality. On the palate, it is crisp and vibrant with lively acidity, flavors of grapefruit and lemon, and a refreshing mineral finish.
Excellent with goat cheese, oysters, grilled fish, or fresh salads.
Marie Baron Bourgueil Rouge is made from 100 percent Cabernet Franc.
Bourgueil is a renowned red wine appellation in the Loire Valley, situated on the north bank of the Loire River in Touraine. The appellation is known for producing expressive Cabernet Franc wines that range from light and fruity to structured and age-worthy.
This wine displays a beautiful ruby color with aromas of red fruits, violets, and a characteristic hint of green pepper. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with supple tannins, bright acidity, and flavors of raspberry and blackcurrant with a touch of graphite.
Pairs wonderfully with charcuterie, grilled meats, goat cheese, or rillettes.
Marie Baron Sancerre Blanc is made from 100 percent Sauvignon Blanc.
Sancerre is one of the most iconic white wine appellations in the world, located in the eastern Loire Valley on steep hillsides overlooking the Loire River. The appellation's Kimmeridgian marl, limestone, and flint soils produce Sauvignon Blanc of exceptional minerality and elegance.
This wine shows a bright, pale straw color with aromas of gooseberry, citrus, and white flowers, underscored by a characteristic chalky minerality. On the palate, it is vibrant and refreshing with crisp acidity, flavors of lime and green apple, and a clean, lingering finish.
Classic pairing with fresh goat cheese (especially Crottin de Chavignol), oysters, grilled fish, or asparagus.
Shirley & David Maudry Pouilly-Fume Cuvee Prestige is made from 100 percent Sauvignon Blanc.

Tinel Blondelet Pouilly-Fume Genetin is made from 100 percent Sauvignon Blanc.
The soil is made of "caillottes" (limestone stones).
"Genetin" is a name given in homage to the original name for Sauvignon Blanc: Muscat Genetin. The Genetin bottling is normally reserved for the most powerful Cuvées in the winery. No oak.
Produced from 25 year-old vines coming from the Villiers limestone terroir, situated in Bouchot.
Traditional vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. Following a gentle pressing the juice is then fermented at controlled temperatures before being left to mature on its fine lees to gain extra depth and concentration before bottling in the next spring.
Matured on fine lees bringing finesse to the wine and bottled late in order to let all its roundness evolve.
Yield: 55 hl/ha
A golden colored and mineral wine with elegance and finesse. Can be cellared for 2-3 years.
A mineral-laced smoky accent and citrus aromas. Elegant and powerful on the palate.
Food pairing: shellfish, goat cheese such as “Crottin de Chavignol”. Perfect also as an aperitif.
Bihan Le Pouilly-Fume is made from 100 percent Sauvignon Blanc.
Its aromas: white flowers (hawthorn and acacia flowers), followed by hints of black current buds, pineapple, apricot or white peaches, depending on the year, with clear mineral notes in the finish. After a couple of years, aromas often evolve to quince and mango. On the palate, it is virile, powerful and long lasting. This Pouilly Fumé is for wine lovers who appreciate full, rich and generous wines.
Pair with seafood, lobster, fish and white meat. Goat cheese is a perfect match too!

***Tenimenti Angelini Val di Suga Vigna Spuntali Brunello di Montalcino 2016:
The 2016 Vigna Spuntali Brunello di Montalcino is the most brooding of the lineup from Val di Suga and is sourced from the southwest of the region on sandy soils. There are aromatics of black raspberry, licorice, menthol, sage, cinnamon, and iron-rich earth. Its Mediterranean influence is felt on the palate with ripe black cherry, dried herbs, and sun-baked earth. This is the fullest bodied and most savory of the Val di Suga lineup, with more roundness and grip. Its structure will benefit from cellaring for several years and will be great drinking over the next 20 years or more. 2026-2040.

***Tenimenti Angelini Val di Suga Vigna Spuntali Brunello di Montalcino 2015:
The 2015 Vigna Spuntali Brunello di Montalcino is more introverted on first opening, with notes of black plum, licorice, dried Mediterranean herb, and sun-baked earth. On the palate, it offers a tart dried fruit character, with a building tannin structure that finishes with tomato leaf, and bitter herbs. The most rustic and burly of the wines in the lineup of the 2015 Val di Suga vintage, it will benefit from allowing some time in cellar to see how this matures and its tarriness develops. Drink 2026-2036

***Tenimenti Angelini Val di Suga Vigna Spuntali Brunello di Montalcino 2013:
Plenty of spices and fresh herbs on the nose, such as dried rosemary and nutmeg, to match the underlying dried redcurrants and cranberries. Full-bodied with plenty of concentration, but still shows a very sturdy, tannin backbone and punchy acidity, to drive this through to a long finish. Drink in 2021.
