Baron Ermengaud Faugeres Rose 60% Grenache and 40% Cinsault.
The Baron Ermengaud cuvée is named after the lord Ermengaud de Fouzilhon who gave lands which were located on Laurens village in 12th century to the monks who built a monastic barn. The monks (Benedictine and then Cistercian) used to cultivate the vineyards there with really wise and modern at that time methods which allows Laurens people to enjoy from this teaching.
A beautiful rose petal robe. The nose is elegant and expressive with floral notes first (orange blossom, peaches), then spicy marks (ginger, white pepper). This is an invitation to spring time... On the palate, this rosé wine is delicate.
Drink as an aperitif with your friends or paired with subtly spiced dishes Indian, Thaï or South East Asia

This Faugeres is dark red with shades of black cherry. A large complexity of aromas allows us to savor a mix of sun fruits and spices. This powerful and full-bodied wine, with a deep consistency, offers an intensity of ripe fruits. It has a long, rich palate on velvety tannins with raised hints of pepper.
Pairs with roast saddle of lamb with juniper berries; peppered venison with pears.
Review:
"Les Crus Faugères is the only cooperative in this appellation, managing 2,223 acres or nearly half of Faugères’ vines. It puts out a vast array of labels, including Mas Olivier, also recommended here, but Baron Ermengaud was the standout for both its 2019 and 2018 reds. Mostly syrah (80 percent), with grenache, carignan and mourvèdre, all of it hand-harvested off schist parcels, the 2019 shines in its combination of earthiness and brightness. Lively acidity and herbal notes give it a just-picked freshness that energizes the red fruit; the clarity allows a clear view of the earth, too, in shades of schist and iron. It tastes like it’s from a place, with a sense of sun and garrigue that’s transporting."

Chavy-Chouet Bourgogne Blanc Femelottes is made form 100 percent Chardonnay.
This is a charming, rich, focused and delightful white. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture, the wine has a fresh backbone of acidity, clean apple and citrus flavors, and an excellent balance. A most refreshing quaff and one that is great value. A delicate, expressive wine of exceptional quality.
The grapes from this wine are grown from the Puligny-Montrachet area. (either outside of the AOC limit or with younger vines).

Aged 10 months in oak barrels (10% new, the rest in 2-3 year old barrels).
2020 Burgundy was a hot and dry vintage, producing wines slightly bigger on the palate. For producers who used the vine's own canopy to protect from heat and had the forethought to prepare for an earlier than normal harvest, well we have ourselves a unique and buy worthy vintage. The early harvest helped to ensure low pH levels and high acidity, as well
as small concentrated berries. These variables all come together in a lush mouthfeel with firm structure.

Grand Veneur Chateauneuf Du Pape Blanc La Fontaine is made from 100% Roussane.
Yellow-gold color. The nose is rich in aromas of citrus fruit, tropical fruit, quince and honey, with a touch of vanilla. On the palate, the same aromas appear together with a fatness combining exotic fruit and vanilla : the wine is rich, generous and elegant, with extraordinary length. "La Fontaine" is often considered to be one of the best Châteauneuf du Pape white, and it is by definition a superb gastronomy wine.
Best between 1 and 8 years.
Review:
"Based on 100% Roussanne brought up in 50% new barrels, the medium gold-hued 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Fontaine Blanc has a rocking bouquet of ripe melon, honeyed pineapple, and toasted bread that carries to a pretty, pure, focused yet still medium to full-bodied white offering beautiful freshness and length. It's going to have over a decade of prime drinking, and I'd give bottles another 6-12 months before opening."

Les Crus Faugères is located in the heart of the Faugères Appellation, in the Languedoc Roussillon.
It is a major player, as it is the only cave cooperative in the area. They manage 900 hectares (2,223 acres) of vineyards, out of the 2,000 hectares (4,940 acres) of Faugeres planted. Let's say that 1 bottle of Faugeres out of 2 is made in this cellar!
Faugeres was recognized as an exclusive quality terroir in 1955, when it was classified as VDQS (Vin De Qualité Supérieure).
Because of the specific soil type and the uniqueness of the terroir, Faugeres became its own AOC in 1982.
Black Stallion Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Limited Release is made from Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
The winery takes its name from a major equestrian area that once occupied the grounds. Its calling card is Cabernet Sauvignon, made in a classic Napa Valley style that offers richness and finesse. While single-vineyard wines are occasionally bottled, most Black Stallion wines are made from small lots cherry-picked from the valley’s disparate winegrowing zones. These are then painstakingly blended to create luxurious, unforgettable wines that capture the depth and brilliance of Napa Valley’s diverse growing regions.
This elegant wine begins with aromas of blackberry, black cherry and sandal wood. Flavors of black currant, fennel and lavender are followed by soft acidity and spiced fruit finish. Pairs well with hearty meat dishes. For a cheese selection, Comte, aged Gouda and Point Reyes Original Blue are suggested.
Review:
With lifted acidity, this wine takes on a mineral aspect of crushed rock and iron, the tannins substantial in weight and force. Textured, the wine is robustly ripe in black cherry, plum and currant, with a note of dill that lingers from the oak.

Review:
"A blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. Lemon drop and buttercup combine with lime sorbet. Bubbles burst with ease and the wine’s mineral tone keeps the palate cleansed."
