Babylons Peak Chenin Blanc is made from 100 percent Chenin Blanc.
Babylon's Peak winery, situated on the highest weathered granite slopes of the Paardeberg Mountain, is privately owned by the Basson family who has passed down the tradition, passion and art of winemaking over four generations. Predominantly low-yield dryland bushvines are selected to produce these excellent wines with distinctive character.
The Chenin Blanc grapes were picked from very old dryland bushvine vineyards. The vineyard grows on weathered granite soils, contributing to the flavor of the grapes and mineral character of the wine. Production is limited to 5 tons/ha.
The grapes were harvest by hand at 22.1°B. The grapes were destalked and lightly crushed. Only the first 450 litres free-run juice per ton were fermented in stainless steel tanks at a cold temperature (10-12°C) for 21 days. The wines was left on the fermentation lees until bottling.
A crisp, fresh and fruity Chenin Blanc from low-yield dryland bushvines.

Product Description
Eikeboom Bush Vine Chenin Blanc 2013 Made from 100% Chenin Blanc planted more than 20 years ago (in 1990). The pruning technique used is 100% bush vines (Gobelet)
This is an intense, lively, fruity and beautifully balanced dry Chenin Blanc. With a great minerality and flavors of pears, sherbet. As the wine was aged for a long time on the lees, it gaves the wine a great mouthfeel and the resulting fruity aromas are very pure and clean. The finish is quite long with a refreshing lime and mineral length.
It can be enjoyed as an aperitif, but richly textured enough to be an excellent foil for spicy chicken stews, baked garlic mushrooms and similar comfort food.

The Eikeboom Winery Estate
Jannie is the 5th generation of Louws to have farmed Eikeboom (Eikeboom means “oak tree grove”), the ï¬rst being Jan Nicolaas in 1864. Known originally as de Eikenbomen, the farm has been in existence since the early 19th century, having been recorded by travellers at the time. It is beautifully situated near the small village of Hermon in the heart of the Boland, Western Cape, South Africa. The mountains, the Elandskloofberge, provide a spectacular visual backdrop.
Essentially a wheat farmer, Jannie has long had a passion for viticulture. Today he has resurrected the art of wine making as practised by his grandfather, Ou Jan ‘Ligtewyn’ whose reputation stemmed from the fact he produced a better quality vintage than normally obtained in the area at the time.
Jannie Louw is a Hobbyist winemaker. Jannie’s brother makes wine in Paarl at Baardeberg.
Production is low volume, high quality, in the garagiste style with Jannie taking meticulous care over all aspects. His range includes: Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay.

Trus Ribera del Duero Crianza is made from 100 percent Tempranillo.
Trus - an acronym for T-tierra (soil), R-roble (oak), U-uva (grape), S-sol (sun) - aims to reflect the uniqueness of each vintage, the aging potential of the wine in the bottle over the years.
Trus takes its roots in Palacios Vinos de Finca, the estate that was founded in 1999, then purchased by Javier Palacios who decided to focus on producing wines that express the purity and typicity of the Ribera terroirs.
The estate vineyards are located in Piñel de abajo, Pesquera de Duero, Quintanilla de Arriba. The winery also partners with winegrowers in Moradillo, Roa, Nava, Peñaranda or Baños de Valdearados. The clay-limestone soils of the high-altitude vineyards define the intense and complex personality of the wines. That is why Trus wines can be defined as classic, because an avant-garde look is the one that is directed towards the soil, preserving a typicity that is marked from its deepest roots.
Trus Crianza reveals a clean and bright cherry color with Burgundian tones at the rim. The nose is very intense and complex, offering ripe black fruits and liquorice aromas, toasty and vanilla nuances, spices and balsamic notes. The wine is tasty and unctuous on the palate, a perfect harmony between acidity and alcohol. Fresh and friendly mouthfeel, the ripe and soft tannins provide structure and great length. Long finish, ripe fruit aftertaste with a smoky and spicy finish.

Castlebrae Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough is made from 100 percent Sauvignon Blanc.
This is a single vineyard wine made with fruit from Castlebrae vineyard, located at the mouth of the Awatere River. The vines were planted in 2007 and 2013 giving a nice mix of maturity.
The wine has vibrant notes of lychee, bell pepper and citrus characters on the nose. Fresh tropical and grassy characters fill the front palate, the mid palate is juicy and the wine finishes with a nice, sweet edge. The palate has a unique freshness that is due to the free draining soils found at the growing site.
