"Moving to the 2019s from bottle, the Grenache-heavy 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Dame Voyageuse offers a beautiful array of both red and black fruits as well as classic Provençal notes of lavender, peppery garrigue, and flowers. Rich, medium to full-bodied, and beautifully textured on the palate, this is another terrific vintage for this cuvée, which remains an incredible value in the market today. It will drink nicely for 10-12 years if stored correctly."

"Coming from this brilliant estate located in Tavel, the 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Dame Voyageuse is based on 90% Grenache with 4% each Syrah and Mourvèdre and the balance Vaccarèse and Counoise, aged 10 months in 15% new French oak and 85% used barrels. Deeper ruby-hued, with a pure, elegant perfume of ripe red and black cherries, sappy garrigue, Provençal spice, and pepper, it's medium-bodied and has a pure, layered, elegant mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and a great finish. Deep ruby red, opaque. Aromas of red fruits, mocha, touches of leather, black truffles and coffee. Fat, very concentrated and full flavored, with an infinitely long liquoriced and fruity finish.
Pairs well with red meats, sauce dishes, game animals (woodcock, wild boar) and semi mature cheeses.

"Lastly, and a tiny production cuvée based on 100% Grenache brought up in new barrels, the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Plume Du Peintre reveals a saturated, almost inky purple color as well as a mammoth-sized bouquet of black currants, bloody meats, lead pencil, tobacco, chocolate, and crushed stone, it nevertheless has notable purity, a full-bodied, layered, seamless texture, no hard edges, and a thrilling finish that offers more and more minerality. with time in the glass. Review:
Black cherries, chocolate, flowers, and spice pop in the nose. On the palate, the wine is rich, round, creamy, fat, and supple, with a smoky edge to the dark black cherries and jammy strawberries in the finish. Give it a year or two for the oak to integrate before pulling a cork. Drink from 2027-2039.

A blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre, and the rest equal parts Syrah and Vaccarese, its deeper ruby/purple hue is followed by a brilliant perfume of blackberries, black raspberries, ground pepper, violets, and new saddle leather. "The 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Dame Voyageuse is darker in color and slightly more Grenache-dominated, made up of 90% Grenache and the rest Syrah, Mourvedre, Vaccarese, and Counoise. Blackberries, violets, graphite, and peppery garrigue all define the bouquet. and it's medium to full-bodied, with beautiful balance, ripe, silky tannins, and a great finish."

The Mordoree Estate
This is arguably the top estate in our Portfolio. Domaine de la Mordoree (woodcock), located in the town of Tavel, in the Southern Rhone Valley, is the most consistent producer of top quality wine in my entire selection. In 1986, the brothers Christophe and Fabrice Delorme decided to dedicate themselves to their passion for wine. They started their own estate with the objective to produce the best wines in each appellation while preserving the environment
The Mordoree Vineyard
The vineyard consists of 55 hectares (135 acres), on 38 different parcels, which provide with a rich, wide range of soils and climates. The soil is a mix of clay, chalk and sand with pebble stones. The improvements at the Domaine have been incredible: new pneumatic presses, new stainless steel vats, new destemmer, new vinification and aging plant, and aging in oak barrels for the top wines. All the grapes are raised by culture raisonnée which is very close to organic viticulture (intervention in the vineyard only when necessary). The yield is reduced in the vineyard by ébourgeonnage (de budding in spring) and vendanges vertes in summer (green harvesting). Oak aging for the top wines in special barrels like “jupille” for 10 months. No expense is spared at this Domaine to achieve quality.

Grand Veneur Chateauneuf-du-Pape Rouge Les Origines is made from 50% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre and 20% Syrah
Matured in vats (grenache) and in oak casks (syrah and mourvèdre).
Deep and brilliant, purple-red colour. An exciting nose with aromas of black fruit (blackcurrant, cherry) spices and vanilla. This great aromatic complexity is found on the palate : the spices and ripe fruit appear with an elegant woodiness and harmonious tannins. The finish has good aromatic length and introduces a touch of liquorice and pepper.
A terrific Châteauneuf du Pape with great concentration and finesse.
Best between 2 and 20 years. Best to decant if young (less than 5 years old).
Soil type Extreme north of Châteauneuf du Pape. This plateau is made with a high quantity of red clay mixed with rocks. This area is considerated to be one of the best to produce rich and powerful red wines. By definition, LES ORIGINES will always deliver a great complexity and ageing potential. Winemaking & ageing Harvest is sorted by hand, destemmed and crushed. Fermentation temperature is controlled at 30°C. Vatting period of 18 to 20 days. Matured in vats (grenache) and in oak casks (syrah and mourvèdre).

Alain de la Treille Touraine Sauvignon Blanc 2025 is made from Sauvignon Blanc.
Our Touraine Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and refreshing, with rich, ripe lime and grapefruit aromas. Great elegance with a mineral style and, despite it all, a certain roundness.
Average age of the vines is 20 years. Part of this cuvee is made with 12 hours of skin maceration and another part from directly pressed grapes. The wine was lightly filtered before bottling to keep it stable.
Ideal for the aperitif, cooked fish such as smoked and grilled salmon, and of course with goat cheese.
