Sunset Hills Shenandoah Springs Chardonnay is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
This is our first release of a clone-specific wine for Sunset Hills. The goal is to show you a specific terroir, one that year after year delivers excellent fruit quality. I chose clone 96 for its complexity both in ripening and barrel aging. During ripening, the fruit has notes of pineapple and pear with great acidity. I saw this wine as a chance to highlight not only the vineyard, but how detailed we can get in growing and making wine.
100% Chardonnay:
75% Clone 96
20% Clone 76
5% Clone 17
Notes of light honeysuckle, Asian pear, raw almond, and lemon custard. Medium body and medium acid.
Roserock by Drouhin Oregon Eola-Amity Hills Chardonnay is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
This Chardonnay leads with clean, fresh aromas of apple, honeydew, white flowers, shortcake and a touch of nuttiness. On the palate, the wine is generous and round, with flavors of citrus tart, white peach, almonds and spice with a delicious combination of minerality and richness. The finish is long.

Pierinvaletta Moscato d'Asti Organic is made from 100 percent Moscato.
Delicious Moscato flavors with a tropical fruit flavors and aromas, as well as a nice fresh acidity to balance the classic sweetness.
Delicious on its own, but also with Sushi or cheese. It is also an excellent base for cocktails.
The grapes are harvested at desired level of ripeness (brix).
This is the reason why Moscato d'Asti are low in alcohol and fairly sweet. Not all the sugar has been transformed into alcohol during fermentation.
The juice is left to ferment only partially. When the desired level of alcohol is reached, the wine is chilled and filtered, leaving some un-fermented sugar in the future wine.
Then the grapes are crushed and , the juice is being separated from the skins.
Deep red in color, this wine is silky on the palate, with ripe, jammy fruit and a powerfully long finish that is pleasant and slightly smokey. A rich, age-worthy wine.
Handling: Hand-picked, chilled, destemmed, lightly crushed into bins and tanks Pre-ferment: 0 – 4 day cold soak. Yeast: Inoculated: – various strains. Fermentation: average of 10 days. 15 years old vines.
Named after the French word for Crow, or Raven, this Syrah is certainly as dark as the name implies. Hailing from Discovery Vineyard, perched high above the Columbia River in the heart of the Horse Heaven Hills, these grapes were grown in a very unique terroir. Avennia's approach of old-world style, minimalist winemaking allows for full expression of the fruit, showcasing the elegant and savory side of Syrah.
"Leads with a nice balance of dark fruits—blackberry and blueberry—with more savory elements, including blackberry leaf, olive, charcuterie, and a hint of shiitake. The palate features snappy fresh black fruits, a hint of smoked meat, and a lively finish with plenty of savory elements that make this wine quite interesting. Give it a year in the cellar and enjoy over the next eight years or so." - Chris Peterson, Winemaker
Reviews:
"Aromas of blackberry and violet accented by a note of stems. Sweet, supple wine with dark fruit flavors lifted by a black-peppery topnote and accented by cinnamony Red Hots. For all its high notes, this is essentially a creamy wine with no edges. I suspect it will tighten up in bottle and eventually display a more savory aspect. Incidentally, this will be the last vintage for this bottling because, beginning with vintage 2018, Chris Peterson will introduce some new single-vineyard Syrahs from the exciting new WeatherEye vineyard on top of Red Mountain. This steep site, owned by Cameron Myhrvold and farmed by Ryan Johnson, extends over the ridgeline and onto the northern flank of Red Mountain. The project is called Red Mountain Elevated, and Peterson is making the wines. (14.5% alcohol; done mostly in puncheons; vinified with 10% stems) - Stephen Tanzer”

"The last vintage for this cuvée, the 2017 Syrah Le Corbeau Discovery Vineyard is similar in style to the Arnaut yet offers slightly more floral notes in its blue fruits, wild strawberry, violets, rose petal, and sappy, forest floor aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, with bright acidity and good balance, it’s a beautiful Syrah that leans heavily toward the fresh, elegant end of the spectrum while still offering tons of character and pleasure.”

Review:
The 2019 Crabitey is gorgeous. Blackberry, gravel, sage, leather, graphite and lavender build as the 2019 shows off its drive and vibrancy. The aromas and flavors are beautifully delineated. Deceptive in its mid-weight feel, the 2019 impresses with its poise and overall balance. - Antonio Galloni"

Waypoint Oakville Ranch Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100 percent Cabernet Sauvignon.
Review:
Sourced from blocks 7 and Summit, and expertly farmed by Phil Coturri (Harlan, Mayacamas, Landmark, Moon Mountain), comes a big but very smooth and inviting Cabernet Sauvignon with black cherry fruit, blueberries and creme de cassis notes. It’s a flawless wine, which is probably how it recently picked up a soon-to-be published
95-point Cellar Selection from Wine Enthusiast.
The 2018 Oakville Ranch checks in as 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Cabernet Franc, all brought up in 68% new barrels. A lifted, pretty perfume of violets, spring flowers, black raspberries, and cassis gives way to a medium to full-bodied, elegant 2018 that does everything right. With polished tannins and plenty of richness, enjoy this beauty any time over the coming 15+ years.
