Rinaldi Celle Piemonte Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Intense red color with purple reflections. The characteristic aroma is pleasant and dominated by notes of blackberry, plum and black currant. A short passage in wood gives it elegance and complexity.

The Rinaldi Estate
The winery is located on the hills of Alto Monferrato, close to Acqui Terme, in the heart of one of the most precious areas of south Piedmont. The family business was founded in 1961 by Oreste Rinaldi. It is run today by his son Andrea and his daughter Paola. The family has been producing wine for 40 years from their vineyards located on a particularly privileged area with a favorable microclimate and a perfect southwestern exposure
The Rinaldi Vineyard
Currently Rinaldi has 20 hectares of vines (49.6 acres), 19hectares owned, 1 hectares rented. Their single vineyard Bricco Cardogno, planted to Moscato, is a vineyard that measures 2.5 hectares (6.75 acres) and was planted 40 years ago by Andrea Rinaldi’s grandfather. It is located 240- 300 m above sea level. The soil type in this vineyard is limestone (tufa). All grapes are hands harvested with extreme care. Quality starts in the vineyard. The single vineyard Bricco Rioglio is planted with Brachetto grapes, limestone based with 15-year-old vines. (Bricco is a tea cup in local dialect).

Bright and glossy ruby red in color. On the nose it reveals aromas of small fresh berries and a trace of sour cherry, melded with hints of blackberries and black cherries, followed by a hint of vanilla. A fragrant wine with satisfying intensity. On the palate it is warm, smooth and a medium-bodied with finely-balanced tannins. Dry and sinewy yet fresh with a persistent, aromatic finish.

Meaty and dark-fruited nose. Full-bodied with slightly chewy tannins. I like the bright acidity and definition of fruit on the palate here. Lifted and juicy. Delicious.

The 2020 Sestina showed beautifully, with lots of ripe black fruits, tobacco, and spring flower notes in a medium to full-bodied, fresh, focused, elegant style. It has fine tannins and a great finish and should drink nicely right out of the gate. The tannins here are terrific.

An exciting new world style wine with upfront blackcurrant flavors. The black fruit is well-balanced with subtle French oak for a complex nose and an elegant and lingering follow-through. Cold soaked overnight. Inoculated with selected yeast. Fermentation temperature was between 24 -26 degrees Celsius. Regular pump-overs were given to enhance colour and flavour extraction. The 2021 My Favorite Neighbor Cabernet Sauvignon fills the glass with a seamless culmination of black cherry, cassis and warm spice. On the palate, you are rewarded with a full body displaying blackberry and plum with underlying notes of tobacco. An additional layer of red fruit and a pop of acid, combined with well- integrated tannins and a beautifully crafted structure, leave nothing to be desired. Considering that this blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon with 7% each of Petit Verdot and Malbec (along with bits of Petite Sirah and Syrah) was sourced from Paso Robles but bottled in Napa, the "Neighbor" part of this wine's name makes sense-and tasting it explains the "Favorite" part. It's very flavorful, with notes of black cherry and cassis and an acid structure that's ready to rip, making it just perfect for restaurants.

Vibrantly red, with blue and purple glints. It has complex aromas of plum and ripe fruit, evoking dry fig. In the mouth, it is velvety, long, with a rich aftertaste, full of fine, sweet, ripe tannins.
