Tinel Blondelet Pouilly-Fume Genetin is made from 100 percent Sauvignon Blanc.
The soil is made of "caillottes" (limestone stones).
"Genetin" is a name given in homage to the original name for Sauvignon Blanc: Muscat Genetin. The Genetin bottling is normally reserved for the most powerful Cuvées in the winery. No oak.
Produced from 25 year-old vines coming from the Villiers limestone terroir, situated in Bouchot.
Traditional vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. Following a gentle pressing the juice is then fermented at controlled temperatures before being left to mature on its fine lees to gain extra depth and concentration before bottling in the next spring.
Matured on fine lees bringing finesse to the wine and bottled late in order to let all its roundness evolve.
Yield: 55 hl/ha
A golden colored and mineral wine with elegance and finesse. Can be cellared for 2-3 years.
A mineral-laced smoky accent and citrus aromas. Elegant and powerful on the palate.
Food pairing: shellfish, goat cheese such as “Crottin de Chavignol”. Perfect also as an aperitif.
The Tinel-Blondelet Estate
Annick Tinel represents the 6th generation of winemakers. She took over the estate from her parents in1985 . The total production averages 8,000 cases per year and she exports 60%.
The Tinel-Blondelet Vineyard
This 15 hectares (37 acres) vineyard is divided into 3 parcels in Sancerre and 16 parcels in Pouilly:
- 9.5 hectares: Pouilly-Fumé, on limestone soils and kimmeridgian marls (oyster shells fossils)
- 0.5 hectares: Pouilly-sur-Loire
- 4 hectares:Sancerre, "Les Blancs Gateaux", on limestone and silicious soils.
Annick Tinel focuses on the quality of the vineyard to obtain the optimum maturity of the grapes. She combines the use of modern techniques (pneumatic press, thermo-regulator, etc) with traditional vinfication methods to give richness and aromatic complexity to the wines.
Castello di Neive Santo Stefano Barbaresco is made from 100 percent Nebbiolo.
The Barbaresco Santo Stefano is the result of an ethereal combination of the ideal terroir with the perfectly-suited Nebbiolo grape. This wine shows all the characteristic elegance of Barbaresco with the complexity and richness for which Santo Stefano is known. The Nebbiolo grapes for this wine are grown in the Albesani sub-appellation inside Barbaresco, in the single vineyard of Santo Stefano, which is owned entirely by Castello di Neive.
Deep garnet in color, intoxicating aromas of purple fruits and wild flowers are underscored by notes of cherries, roses, and baking spices. On the palate, it is elegant, with a long spicy finish. This wine manages to be weightless and intoxicating at the same time.
Pairs well with slow-roasted beef, demi-glaces, grilled pork and apples, and Beef Wellington.
This firmly structured, focused red offers aromas of red berry, fragrant blue flowers, menthol, oak and spices. The assertive palate evokes cranberry, sour cherry, star anise, underbrush and orange zest set against tightly knit, close-grained tannins that leave a rather drying finish, while racy acidity lends balance. It's still tight and youthfully austere, so give it ample time to fully open up and develop. Drink 2026–2041.
-Wine Enthusiast 95 Points
Notable for its purity and supple texture, this red exhibits strawberry, cherry, currant and floral aromas and flavors, backed by a precise line of tannins. It feels balanced, if a little pinched by the tannins on the finish now. Best from 2023 through 2040. 1,000 cases made, 200 cases imported.

Long Shadows Feather Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100 percent Washington State Cabernet.
Acclaimed Napa Valley vintner Randy Dunn has a reputation for producing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. He brings more than four decades of winemaking experience to the Columbia Valley to produce Feather, his only wine made outside of California.
Tasting Notes: Deep crimson colored with pure and expressive Cabernet Sauvignon character. Generous aromas and flavors of dark fruits, violets, coffee and toasted herbs combine with a textured mid-palate to deliver a big, yet focused, wine with polished tannins and persistent finish.
Winemaking: Grapes were hand-harvested at the peak of ripeness, then lightly crushed and fermented in small stainless steel tanks. Once fermentation was underway, the cap was pumped over aggressively to extract color and structure. As fermentation neared completion, pump overs were handled more gently to further extract color and flavors without imparting harsh tannins. The finished wine was aged 22 months in 90% new Vicard French oak barrels (Randy's cooper of choice at Dunn Vineyards as well).
TA: 0.58 grams / 100ml
I always love this wine, and the 2017 Feather is no exception. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and brought up in 88% new French oak, it has loads of black fruits, dark chocolate, graphite, and charcoal aromatics as well as a full-bodied, concentrated, backward style on the palate. It's terrific, but don't open bottles for at least another 3-4 years. -Jeb Dunnuck 95 Points
Paul Hobbs Chardonnay Russian River Valley is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
A vibrant blend derived from our revered vineyards that are defined by the region's cooling fog and warm afternoon sunshine reveals a pale straw color in the glass and aromas of white florals, ground ginger, and Mandarin orange. Golden Delicious apple and Meyer lemon give way to complex flavors of baking spice and piecrust that add a round texture to accompany its bright acidity, framing the long finish.

Intricate and characteristic bouquet of flower and fruit aromas (refreshing citrus fruit, soft pear, crisp apple). An elegantly rich, fruity wine with a hint of nuttiness.
6 months in old Oak
The vines are 35 years of age on average. The mainly clay soil is light and stony. The wine's alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats after which the wine goes through its malolactic fermentation in oak barrels.
Lightly chilled, it will accompany all fish and shellfish dishes which are not too highly spiced. It will also enhance all white meat dishes as well as making an excellent before dinner apéritif.
Jean-Michel Sorbe Quincy Blanc is made from 100 percent Sauvingon Blanc.
The first nose is expressive and opens up to notes of acacia, citrus (lemon, grapefruit). Full on the palate with lovely freshness. This wine boasts nice balance and good length.
The vines are 15 to 20 years old and are located on the left bank of the Cher River, southwest of Quincy. This vineyard enjoys good exposure to the sun and overlies hillocks composed of sandy alluvial deposits and gravel dating back to the Quaternary Period. Each terroir is managed with minimal intervention in an environmentally friendly approach. Vinification: Slow pressing. Fermentation took place under controlled temperatures (18°C).The wine was aged on fine lees for a minimum of 4 months. It was filtered only once before being bottled.
Pair with crustaceans, asparagus, or goat's cheeses.
After pouring, allow the wine to breathe for a few moments in the glass before enjoying so that it may fully release all of its aromas.
"Catherine Corbeau Mellot has run this estate since her husband Alexandre's passing in 2005, six years after he had taken over Sorbe's domaine. She ferments and ages this Quincy in stainless steel, producing a healthy, structured sauvignon with overtones of tropical fruit. Its minerality comes off akin to grill-smoke, adding depth and placing the wine with a grilled pork chop and poached apples."

- Decanter World Wine Awards 2020, 90 pts - SILVER MEDAL
Deep straw in colour. Concentrated citrus and white peach fruit flavours are complimented by delicate yeast and subtle spice aromas. The palate is clean and fresh with vibrant fruit flavours, mineral characters and a good lingering finish.
Fruit was harvested in the cool of the night and gently pressed. The juice was fermented in French oak barrels (35% new, 65% aged). Various components underwent: a wild ferment, malolactic fermentation and extended lees contact to give the wine further complexity and flavour. Individual parcels were selected and blended, then filtered to produce this Chardonnay without compromising the purity of the fruit in both flavour and aroma.
2020 was a very good season with predominantly mild, dry days. Yields were generally low and this did result in some excellent parcels of fruit being harvested. Vine-balance was carefully monitored, resulting in fruit that demonstrates the vibrancy and fruit-derived characters that we strive for in our wines. By all accounts it was a textbook vintage.
Rinaldi Follie Pink is made from 50 % Dolcetto, 45 % Merlot, and 5 % Brachetto.

This is a great wine for Aperitif.
"Here’s a delightful aperitif wine to brighten your spirits as you prepare dinner or relax on the patio. Flavors of strawberries and raspberries throw a party in your glass and will bring a smile to your face. The blend is dolcetto and merlot, with a little brachetto. - Dave McIntyre"

Game in a sauce, Burgundy cheese (Citeaux)
Displaying full-bodied opulence, density, depth, structure, and complex aromas and flavors, our cabernet sauvignon is cultivated from some of the most sought after vineyards in Napa Valley.
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a gorgeous, racy wine that captures all the best the vintage has to offer within its peer group. Juicy red and purplish berry fruit, lavender and mint give the 2017 striking freshness and nuance to match its mid-weight personality. This is such a pretty and accessible wine. I would prefer to drink it over the next decade or so.
-- Antonio Galloni 92 Points
Well-built, with the vintage's warm and forward plum and blackberry preserve profile leading the way, while lush melted licorice and sweet spice accents fill in on the finish. A purely fruit-driven version, but the balance is there. Drink now through 2029. 4,330 cases made.
