Gaec de Brangers Menetou Salon Blanc 100% Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and refreshing with rich, ripe lime and grapefruit aromas. Elegant, beautifully rounded, harmonious and well-balanced, a mineral sytle and a smooth and long finish. It is ideal as an aperitif and a great match with shellfish, smoked and grilled salmon, goat cheese.
DOMAINE DU GAEC DES BRANGERS is owned by the CHAVET family, which is one of the most reknown winemaking families of the Menetou-Salon Appellation. Philippe Chavet has been running the estate for 25 years and each year, his cuvees are awarded in the international competitions and by the international press.

Lionel Métaireau is the winemaker of MAISON ALAIN DE LA TREILLE since 2008. He is native of Le Pallet in the Muscadet Vineyard, close to Nantes. He joined the MAISON ALAIN DE LA TREILLE in 2008 with the aim of revealing French varietal grapes with a local and unique style.

Dark ruby color. Aromas of cherry, currant, vanilla bean and hint of tar. Full-bodied, with flavors of cherries, cocoa powder and oak. A touch of sweetness on entry with a little bit of air with soft tannins that are starting to integrate well.
The latest step in the project is Vinsacro (formerly Valsacro) Dioro. The earlier Valsacros were made from a field selection of the older vineyards. Now, thanks to the new facility Amador has been able to build an upmarket version of Vinsacro (formerly Valsacro) with a four-stage selection process that includes an initial field selection of the fruit followed by a second table selection as the grapes come into the winery. After fermentation wine from selected tanks is transferred to new French oak barrels for 12-14 months of barrel age. Finally, the best barrels are set aside for Dioro and the remainder used to "upgrade" the normal Vinsacro.
Vinsacro Dioro is a blend of grapes from 100+ year old "vidau" vineyards where many varieties were planted together in the same plot.
Today the grapes are harvested and vinified separately. The final blend depends on the vintage but typically it's Tempranillo (50%), Garnacha (20%) and remaining 30% is a mix of mainly Graciano (10%) & Mazuelo (10%) with a little of Monastrell (5%) & Bobal (5%).

The 2019 Vinsacro Dioro is a Vidau field blend, incorporating a mix of grapes such as Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, Monastrell and Bobal, sourced from Monte Yerga in Rioja Oriental. Aged for up to 17 months in oak barrels and cellared for five years before release, this dark garnet wine presents a nose with notes of soy sauce, wild herbs, blackberry and sour cherry. On the palate, it is dry, juicy and fine-grained, lingering long with a flavorful finish. Well-served by the aging process, this wild yet balanced wine will evolve with grace. - Joaquin HIDALGO

All Grenache sourced mostly from the Chapouin lieu-dit with a splash from Janasse, the 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Chaupin shows a medium ruby hue followed by a pretty, perfumed, remarkably elegant profile. It has a core of sweet red and black berry fruits, absolutely heavenly Provençal aromatics of herbes de Provence, black olive, pepper, and flowers, plus ripe, velvety tannins, flawless balance, and a great finish. Partially destemmed and aged 12 months in 70% foudre and 30% demi-muids, this heavenly 2023 will drink beautifully over the coming two decades. There are roughly 1,500 cases produced. Drink 2025-2045.

Really fresh and balance wine with peppery and slightly minty notes. The nose is intense and aromatic with notes of citrus, peach and ripe fruit. The palate is fruity and fresh.

Boussey Bourgogne Blanc Cote d'Or Vieilles Vignes is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
Domaine Boussey is a five-generation family estate in the village of Monthelie, in the heart of the Cote de Beaune, today run by Laurent and Karen Boussey. This white comes off a single old-vine parcel set within the commune of Meursault itself, farmed on the classic clay and limestone of the slope, and carries the stricter Bourgogne Cote d'Or appellation reserved for fruit grown on the true Cote d'Or hillsides.
Two-thirds is raised in seasoned French oak and a third in stainless steel to hold on to freshness and fruit. The result is a genuine, small-domaine white Burgundy at an everyday price, with lime and citrus, a flinty edge and a note of honeysuckle carried on a fine, saline balance of acidity and roundness.
Cazaux Vacqueyras Blanc Les Clefs d'Or is made from 50% Clairette, 30% Roussanne and 20% Grenache Blanc.
A wine with lively acidity, expressive aromas of fennel and white flowers. It is long and full in the mouth with minty and anisy aromas mixed with white peach flavors. Refreshing and mineral character.

Cazaux Vacqueyras Blanc Vieilles Vignes 50% Clairette, 30% Roussanne and 20% Viognier
The wine has a beautiful golden color.
The aromas are rich and
exotic with mango, almonds, toast, lemon, pineapple white flowers and
papaye. These aromas will develop to honey, butter and pear after ageing
for a few years.
The finish is long, citrusy and toasty.
Terroir: Slopes of sandy soil or grey limestone.
Yield: 25 -30 hl/ha
Age of the vines: 70 years old minimum. The oldest are around 90 years old.
The
grapes are pressed pneumatically after a few hours contact with the
skins.The must is kept at 20°c during the alcoholic fermentation to
optimise the aromas and respect the wine’s suppleness.
Barrel fermented an aged in 228-liter French Oak barrel for 12 months with regular stirrings of the lees.
MaloLactic Fermentation also in barrel.
Enjoy this wine with rich dish, river fish or poultry cooking in creamy sauce. Delicious with a mushroom risotto.
Review:
Coming from older vines and a smaller production release, the 2023 Vacqueyras Vieilles Vignes is tighter and more inward, with brilliant darker cherry and berry fruits supported by ground pepper, crushed stone, and subtle Provençal garrigue. Based on 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre, it's medium to full-bodied and has a focused, concentrated mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. It needs 2-3 years of bottle age but is a brilliant Vacqueyras that I would be thrilled to have in the cellar. It will have 10-15 years of longevity. Drink 2028-2043.

Drawing largely on Chehalem Mountains fruit, the 2022 — the first Toil to include estate-grown fruit — reflects a classic, cool Oregon season: red-fruited, savory and energetic, with the bright acidity that marks the valley.
Review:
Violet and lavender florals come together with crushed blackberries and hints of sage as the 2022 Pinot Noir blossoms in the glass. This sweeps across the palate with ripe wild berry fruits and sweet spices, taking on a crunch of tart cranberry toward the close. Blue and purple florals resonate as the 2022 finishes with a coating of edgy tannins and a raspberry concentration, all lifted by a bump of zesty acidity.
