Standout: Made from the Guedes family's best selection of fruit, is filled with peach fruit and saline acidity.

"It's rare to find a vinho verde – the famously light and refreshing "green" white wine of Portugal – that isn't delightful, but this is one of the best of the breed. And there's no better time to quaff these wines than in the spring and summer. This version is lightly effervescent, with a lively acidity that wakes up the palate. It combines lime and peach flavors with a whiff of sea breeze. Somehow it manages to be both ethereal and penetrating. The ultimate picnic wine? Perhaps. It begs to be drunk outdoors."

"An impressive first release for this all-Pinot Noir bubbly from Paraje Altamira, aged for 18 months on its lees before disgorgement. It’s a creamy, bready, well-balanced style, with fine bubbles and a dry, palate-cleansing finish. A fizz to watch. 2017-22"
- Tim Atkin (Argentina Special Report 2017), 92 pts

"Perhaps with the same sort of structural power that Altamira reds possess, this sparkling rosé shows something immutable in body, lively texture, bracing acidity. The wine spent 18 months on the lees and this, no doubt, provides flavor complexities well beyond the fruit, but still the fruit predominates with intense aromas, substantial, and crisp, lively acidity. If what you’re looking for is a sparkler for carpaccio or roast beef, this is it."

Montino Rose NV

Montino Rose NV is made from 85% Muscat and 15% Pinotage

Naturally lighter in alcohol, mouth-wateringly fruity, Montino offers fresh and lively wines. Delicate, fruity and light, it's perfect for those mid-week occasions when you've got a lot on and would like a lighter, lower alcohol option.

Montino Natural Sweet Rose offers an abundant bouquet of red berries in a refreshing, lightly sparkling wine.

Tasting notes:
An irresistible juicy natural sweet rosé, Montino Rose is a pretty cherry pink with tempting crushed strawberry and Turkish delight aromas that explode in succulent candied red berry flavors. The light alcohol, lively wine is easy-drinking and a great lunch time wine.

Only free run juice is used for the purest fruit expression (i.e. no pressed grape must: as pressing the grapes add astringent flavors from the skins and pips). After settling and acid adjustment, the fresh grape must was inoculated with selected yeast. Fermentation was colder than usual to capture the delicate floral and upfront fruit flavors. Varietals are vinified separately and blended to perfection before bottling with CO2 in a petillant style (lightly sparkling).

This wine should be served well-chilled. It is an ideal lunchtime wine, complementing light summer salads and tapas style meals. However, it is versatile enough to be served at most occasions.

Terre dei Buth Frizzante Rose Special Cuvee NV

Terre dei Buth Frizzante Rose Special Cuvee NV is made from 90% Glera and 10% Raboso.

Fresh, fruity with hints of gooseberry and redcurrant.

On top of being "Certified Organic", this is also "Vegan Approved".

Glera and Raboso are blended before foaming process into what we call "Special Cuvée", for its outstanding drinkability and delicate scents. Glera, which is the variety used to make Prosecco, brings the liveliness of the most famous Italian sparkling wine to this cuvée, which reaches perfection thanks to Raboso, which is an indigenous red grape of the Venetian region, well-known for its hints of red berries and smooth taste.

The grapes are coming from vines planted on gravelly soils.
Average age of the vines is about 10 years old.
Grapes are machine-harvested, so that the grapes are pressed about 10 minutes after picking, allowing to preserve the freshness of the fruit, and avoiding micro-fermentation that would take place by leaving the grapes for too much time in the vineyard after picking.
Each grape variety is harvested and vinified individually.
After picking, grapes are soft-pressed, and the primary fermentation is completed in about 10 days. Then fermentation takes place for 5-6 months, where the cuvée reaches the appropriate level of acidity for foaming, which is performed in stainless steel tanks, thermo-conditioned, for about 20-25 days.

Pasta, pizza and summer salads.

Cortenova Prosecco Spumante NV

Cortenova Prosecco Spumante NV is 100 percent Prosecco

This Prosecco comes from the highly esteemed area of Valdobbiadene. There are two recognized quality zones for Prosecco, Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. Specially selected yeast are added and fermentation is controlled at 20° C. There is no malolactic fermentation and the wine is transferred to autoclaves and a second fermentation is induced following the Charmat tradition. When the desired atmospheric pressure is reached (usually 1 month) the wine is bottled.

In the palate it is fresh and clean with a soft body and a pleasing sparkle. The fruit is subtle and reminiscent of apples and pears with a hint of almond in the background. The finish is inviting.

Bright, attractive aromas and flavors of roasted lemons and kiwis, green nectarine, nougat, and grass with a soft, vibrant, spritzy, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a tingling, complex, medium-length spiced clementine and delicate herbal honey finish with silky, crunchy, fruit tannins and no oak.
